that's because followers of christ don't have any understandings to lean on. They're lost souls, who are easily targeted by scammers like hitler and god and christ and all of the religious bs. They're easily preyed on and taken advantage because they want understanding of the world around and when they can't understand the logic and reason of normal people, it's to complicated for them to learn and put in effort. they get discouraged because of all the pain and suffering and hope and pray desparately for all those things to disappear with a swish of a magic wand. But life isn't that easy. that's why they follow god because it's easy. Just say god did it and go to sleep. that's why things like cults thrive, they give those lost soul an easy way out, just blame it on a higher being. you guys are so lost. - Reply to this comment

Bald-faced lie. As usual for someone trying to prove a myth. Look I hated Hitler more then most as I have a Jewish wife who lost a lot of family in the ovens, but that doesn't change the fact that Hitler was a Catholic who received at least some help from the Vatican. - Hitler hated God. This is why he killed so many Jews. After all, Jesus Christ was raised in Jerusalem and did most of his ministry in Jerusalem and Nazareth.

Nice way to tap dance around the fact that Jesus was Jewish. Oh and yes a lot of the places mentioned in the bible still exist. So what? Stephen King puts just about every one of his books in a "small town in Maine" (which is getting REALLY old King!), it's right there and that doesn't make his stories and fairy tales any more real. Evolution is a proven scientific fact and the bible is a nice collection of fairy tales and myths. Deal with it. - Reply to this comment

- And homosexuality is no sin. It is not the right of anyone, no matter what his or her religion says, to condemn people for being g*ay. People are born g*ay or straight and follow their heart and love is never a sin. So unlike people who say go and sin no more, I say they aren't sinning in the first place and bless them for their love.

- I never said Jesus or his death was a fairy tale. The fairy tale part comes in where he claimed to be the son of god. There is no god,therefore there could be no son of one. Jesus was a wise man in many ways, but ultimately he was delusional. As is anyone who believes in a god. And as I said, I am not anti-Christian, I am against anyone who uses religion to foist his own viewpoint on people, esp in the public schools which is how this whole discussion started. If I am or am not an atheist is beside the point. the point is religion has no place in public schools and creationism is religion. Evolution is science and should be taught to the exclusion of religious garbage like creationism.

-You are correct. There are allot of " Christians "who act hateful towards ***, muslims, etc, etc. Sin causes this. True Christians will love others. Although we may disagree with homosexuality , and other sins, this does not mean "we" condemn these people. In other words we can "love" the sinner but "hate" the sin. We all sin however, none of us are perfect. This is why Jesus died on the cross for us, to forgive us of our sins. Think of it as a myth all you'd like, but it's the Truth. God created all of us with free will. This is why some people choose not to believe in Him. God wants us to love Him, but it's our choice. First of all, being a Christian is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Secondly, if you think Hitler was a Christian, wow, you are very misled. A true Christian wouldn't deliberately kill millions of people with no remorse. You are so anti-Christian. You are an atheist. The definition of an atheist is someone who does not think that God exists. God is the foundation of being a Christian through His son Jesus Christ. Why are you so angry at Christians? There are people out there who will confess to be Christians but really they are not. I'm assuming you've met some of these people or read about them which is why you feel such hatred towards Christians. Just because someone may confess to be a Christian doesn't necessarily mean they are. Only God knows what's in a man's heart and only He determines who His faithful children are.
No matter what you say, God still loves you. It is God's place to judge our world, not man's. Again, being a Christian is about knowing and believing the sacrifice that Jesus paid on the cross for all of our sins. This is not a myth or fairy tale. God did this because He loves you, me, and everyone else. He did not have to do this, he could've just simply snapped his fingers and made everything ok again, but since He loves us so much, he did this for us. He loves you Randal. - I am angry at all of the damage Christians have done over the centuries supposedly in their gods name. The wars, the missionaries who sailed to the corners of the earth, bringing along their infectious diseases, racism and prejudice with them of course. I hate the smugness that makes them think I need their revelation of what they believe is the word of god. It implies a stupidity on my part that isn't there. I have looked at christianity as an adult and found it to be a joke. It's fine to frighten the weak minded and little children, but it's constant refutation of things like evolution belie it's lack of logic and intelligence.

Christians didn't fly airplanes into buildings on 9-11 and kill thousands of innocent people. Christians didn't killed millions of Jews during the Haullicost under the rule of the dictator Adolph Hitler, Christians don't shoot people in the back if they refuse to believe in God, Christians don't run around saying "praise be to Allah" if someone is murdered in the streets of Iran, Iraq, etc, etc,etc....and finally, Christians don't blow themselves up and think they will meet Allah afterwards for doing this false god a "good deed". I know, I know...you're going to say something about the "Christian Crusades" and you're going to go waaaaay back in history trying to justify your points...but guess what, being a Christian is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ, and when you have that, you have the greatest love than you will ever know!

- Obviously you're too far gone to ever come back to rationality. Yes I do hate supposed Christians, because of all of the death and damage they've brought to the world while "spreading their faith". Because of they're attempts to force there faith on everyone else and the violence they've advocated and done themselves to do it. The lies and hypocrisy sicken me because they know they're lying or at least would if they bothered to realize that the bible is a book of myths and stories. It's not the revealed word of anyone other then the old men in the desert who wrote it to try to explain to their ignorant of surreptitious followers.
