I think this has always been common knowledge, we just do a very poor job these days of keeping quiet about it.

I also question if we are meant to be monogamous with the same partner for life. That seems like such a long time. If humans were at least allowed occasional vacations from marriage, I think the divorce rate would plummet.

Who writes this drivel? There is no information about sample size or how the sample was selected. There is no information about the questions or methodology used. The only detail about the study given is that they only looked at people who came of age during or after the "sexual revolution" of the 1960s, ie. since the advent of the birth control pill.

This looks like agenda driven junk science. Did CBS do any investigation of this claim? Or, did they simply print a press release from a political advocacy group?

A documentary film of a couple of years ago, called "The Education of Shelby Knox", focused on a Texas community that was pushing abstinence as the only form of *** education, but a high school student discovered that the town, Lubbock had some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases in the country, so she took it upon herself to promote other forms of birth control, although she personally made a vow of abstinence until marriage. Yes it is true that many people in America are having premarital sex, who struggle with sexual temptations, and it seems like everyday life, but not everybody is having sex. Many people do wait to have sex until marriage and some priest don't ever have sex at all. Yeah, they might struggle with that temptation but they don't have to give into it. America is bad today, but if those females knew better and cared about eachother and the next generation they wouldn't choose the life they do.
