I was 3 years to young for Vietnam, But I do understand this
I do not want my son and other good men and women to Die for an ungrateful nation who will never realize we are at war for our very lives, these %u201Cnot till its at my back door%u201D types will need to suffer I guess before it becomes necessary to respond. They will understand when there standing in a ditch being shot in the back of the head by our new Nazis, All woman will louse there right to speak or been seen, ( there are men in this country that would like this to happen, wake up ladies.) but hey %u2026 its over there why worry.

goGOP4life, so you would call all Buddhists who do/did the same thing mental cases? Considering the principles of the GOP, why isn't that surprising?

What an idiot! Sorry guys but to set yourself on fire all in the name of an anit-war protest is plain crazy and stupid and idiotic and mental and blah blah blah! He MUST be a bit mental. Why not move to these countries he loves so much and get the hell outta America? Why in the world would you want to set yourself on fire? Its beyond me!

And this girl,Jennifer Diaz, doesnt have something better to research than some poor mental guy. There are alot of mental people out there and she is making this guy out to be some kind of hero or something for burning himself up?? Hes mentally crazy and deserves pity only because he was mentally ill, NOT because he burned himself in protest! In that way he only looks like an idiot. Well i guess he is right at home with the fire and brimstone. Was he getting a head start?

He may have a mental problem but she is just sad.

Yet we are all reading and commenting on the article, therefore he is getting recognition.

dean, you are right. This dead activist is the perfect representative for his ideology. It's suicidal.

I am a Vietnam veteran and no one dislikes war more than a veteran. But, I'm afraid we have no choice in the Iraqi war and that's what I can understand about my fellow Americans. You have leaders of countries advocating the distruction of America and Israel. To them we are infidels, lower than dogs. They torture their enemies, cut their heads off and praise God. Can someone tell me what it is going to take to wake my fellow Americans to fact that we are fighting for our very existence? Sure, pull all the troops out of middle east. It doesn't matter because our enemies will never stop until they either have destroyed us all or we have destroyed them. Choose America, this is a battle of good and against evil. I pray to God that good wins.

observantX, you don't understand. Bushie thinks he has had an original thought and since he doesn't have one very often, he wants to get as much mileage out it as he can. : )

Ammer:
What do You consider usless deaths. THe terroists surely do not think that their deaths were useless. I Vietnam we had won the war militarily. Ho held on because of the peace activists. The ware lasted another siven years an thousands were killed. If we had killed all of the peace activists in the 60's maybe we could have saved honorable lives. So yea - if you do not have the nerve to fight for you way of life(peace activists) the maybe you do deserve to die.

Wow jimkun - one might think that you are a war protestor and would object to being set on fire - try it you might like it.

three-o-six at, your comment was so witty, I forgot to laugh. Why don't you submit your witticism to Rush Limbaugh? I am sure he will use it.
