I think the POLICE had been running RUFF-SHOT over this neighborhood for so long they forgot they were the SERVANTS of the PEOPLE...

They didn't say, but she was probably out of bullets,
which prompts the question, was she executed?

My first Guess, is the POLICE got the wrong address
somewhere in the paper work and they propagated the mistake
all throughout the paper work...

SHE WAS 92 YEARS OLD
at some point you have to ask the question

EVEN IF SHE WAS SELLING DRUGS
SHE STILL HAS THE RIGHT OF TRIAL BY JURY

What did the POLICE think was going to happen to her
they were going to make her spend her last two or three months of her life in jail
maybe have her were an ankle bracelet..???
THERE ISN'T a JURY in ATLANTA that was going to CONVICT HER
even if she did sell the drugs..

Maybe that is why they acted like the EXECUTIONER,
they knew a jury WOULD NOT CONVICT.. Here in TEXAS cops did the same thing the cops were SO TRIGGER HAPPY they killed their own...
I would not be surprised if some the POLICE in Atlanta were shot from BEHIND..

My Second Guess some land speculator wanted her land
and under drug seizure law they were going to steal her land from her..

This would never happen to me or a member of my family. We don't sell drugs.

RonnieHM, this is your BRIGHTEST STATEMENT Yet,
did you ever think that maybe the 92 YEAR OLD WOMAN
didn't sell drugs either..

I guess in a couple of days we will hear the COMPLETE STORY
how the POLICE found her CRACK PIPE, KIDDY PORN and her SAW OFF SHOTGUN....and maybe some NAZI pamphlets...and her membership to the KLAN...etc

Prior to this incident, the police bought drugs at her home. They used that evidence to get a search warrant. They served the warrant wearing vests with big yellow letters that said POLICE. She shot them. Posted by RonnieHM at 09:38 PM : Nov 22, 2006
the article read...
The police, whom Dreher called "experienced officers," were not wearing uniforms but had on vests with "police" on the front. He said they were inside the house when they were shot.

How CLEAVER they had on vest that said POLICE
did they forget to say it was dark EXCEPT for the POLICE FLASHLIGHTS...?
and where were the POLICE FLASHLIGHTS aimed at her eyes
so she would be blinded and could not see the vest with the
HOLIER THAN THOU words of POLICE..

And yes they found drugs, RonnieHM, It said that "suspected narcotics" were found at the home at 933 Neal Street, an area west and north of the Georgia Dome known for drug activity.

Who could imagine a 92 year old woman with drugs
yea, they found drugs, they found her heart medication...etc

If it was me as a POLICE OFFICER,
I would have Arrested her on her at church on Sunday..
wow, that didn't take much thought..

Yet another egregious lack of oversight in The Fascist States of Amerika. When the jack-booted thugs come beat my door in and start shooting for no reason, belive me: I have a loaded gun in every room and I will take 'em all down with me. If I will be denied my right to live, I'm making sure that their families will suffer with out them, as well. Para-military federal police, such as the ATF and FBI outfitted with the same weapons as the military, including tanks, automatic weapons, combat aircraft, high explosives etc. do seem to be a threat to citizens reminiscent of that used in some foreign countries such as pre-WW II Germany and the Soviet Union - Remember: an unarmed citizenry expecting protection from crime, willing to trust elite politicians who vote their own job security, and as a result, who seem to be un-removable once in power, is a citizenry doomed to suffer tyranny

The police do just the opposite if there are shots fired in a home or hostages taken. They wait outside....and wait....and wait. If they somehow could have found out that this 92 year old was the only one there, maybe they could have knocked ON the door and do the taser on her as soon as she answered.

Who shot first, self-defense, placing blame; every one is going to have their own opinions mainly based on past experiences or whatever.
The most precious and important part of our judicial system is the presumption of innocence. To break down the door of someone%u2019s home and enter with guns drawn is a prima-facie case of pre-conviction of guilt. If hostages were being held and murdered then this action may well be justified, but just to prevent the possible destruction of evidence is definitely not. Police are well aware of this possibility and they are the only ones who are in a position to
take proper precautions.

I'd like to see some of these people who are b**ching about the police face a gun sometime. I would be willing to bet that their reaction wouldn't be to try to talk their way out of the situation, especially if that gun was being fired at them!

Does anyone here honestly think the police raiding a place are going to stop and ask some old lady how old she is and if she committed a crime? Especially when she has already shot at them! Get Real! I notice the first thing out of her neices mouth "I am going to sue like hell! Someone is going to pay for this!" It's just like the bankrobbers in that Hollywood shoot out years ago who sued the cops! They sued the cops because there relative's weren't the first to be taken to the hospital! Never mind they were in a shoot-out with the Police with automatic weapons! The police are human beings to! In a split second they have to determine life and death! Some of the cops critic's need to try the same thing sometime and see what the outcome would be! I always back the police unless there is absolute proof of wrong doing!

It seems to me that the neice started yelling law suit before the crime scene tape went up. Not once did she say anything about the officers that were shot. I come from a long line of honest, hard working police officers. My Daddy always said,"As a protector of the citizens, if you pull your gun, shoot to kill. Anytime a criminal shoots, an innocent may be killed."

I am amazed that without having all the details people will get so irate and post outrageous statements. What about the man the police bought the drugs from? The neice keeps saying the police went to the wrong house. Has this man been arrested yet? Did the elderly woman know him? What kind of activity had been documented at the house? Is the neice involved? Is she legit in her claims or is she using this to make a fast buck. (I noticed that she yelled law suit before she even asked if the officers her aunt shot will be OK).
