- The only references I have are historical references. In the years before Christ, Romans were slaying Catholics at the Colosseum. Not all Romans were murderers, however, just the ones who were "public". Similarly, in the 20th and 21st centuries, we have seen a rise in terrorism, and the most "public" acts of terrorism have been committed by Muslims. This does not mean that Muslims make up 90% of terrorists. For example, Canada's most horrific terrorist act was committed by Sikhs.
I can agree to disagree, though :-) - Reply to this comment
- canadu---okay then....well its pretty *** blatant.I mean, I'm not seeing all these KKK people and a bunch of Tim McVeighs out there. Are you seeing something I am not. Where are all the white terrorists by the hundreds of thousands again 'cause I really have not heard of this. Like I said, I have heard about the exceptions to the rule. I Certainly do not see it as a general rule anywhere except among Islam. Where all these other groups you are speaking of out killing thousands of civilians intentionally anywhere. Please let me know where this is happening. I really would like to check it out for myself if you could please help me out with the info on this.
But okay...we agree to disagree, I guess. - Reply to this comment
- If a flight attendant is supposed to take a passenger's word for it, what do you do with a passenger who passes you a note saying "This guy is reading an Arab newspaper and talking to his seatmate in Arabic. He must be a terrorist!"
Discretion is the better part of valour. You don't throw people off planes because a passenger says you should. - Reply to this comment
- ok ronnie,
I see. And I agree with you that airport security was called.
Would you leave if you didn't know what you'd done wrong and no one had a definitive answer except, for security reasons you have to leave...sounds like a twillight zone episode. if it were me, i'd be scared... - Reply to this comment
- "why else? because they were muslims and "all muslims in groups are dangerous" right...
I'm saying, couldn't fear have been the reason they called the police and had the police remove them, so they wouldnt have a scene on their hands.."
Why would airline security tell the police they refused to leave? Surely the passengers nearby would know that wasn't true. - Reply to this comment
- "Laurie, the assertion is being made that Muslims are terrorists. To refute that assertion, one has to demonstrate that some non-Muslims are terrorists."
In order to refute that argument, you'd have to have said ONLY muslims were terrorists. Nice try.
Sorry, but oranges are still orange and Tim McV does not mean that there are not thousands of muslim terrorists and millions who support them. - Reply to this comment

- "We did nothing" on the plane, Shahin said.
Shahin said no one from the airline asked the six to leave, but when police arrived, the group complied.
this was posted after the 8th paragraph...are we to assume they are lying...why? then..
"according to airline spokeswoman Andrea Rader. Police were called after the captain and airport security workers asked the men to leave the plane and the men refused, Rader said."
we need to know which happened...someone's not telling the truth - Reply to this comment
- "the imam said he was never asked
the crew says he was...its hard to know what's truth here"
A little logic will yield the truth. Why would airline security call the police to remove a passenger? Airline security has that authority. - Reply to this comment
