Check out http://www.occupytogether.org/ and find out for yourself what they want, what they are targeting. Theres several things but I hear one thing loud and clear - they're sick and tired of the top 1% getting out of their taxes with loopholes while the rest of us PAY our taxes!
The Wall Street parasites claim they are "job-creators." Very well. Where are the jobs???????
Rather than beg Wall Street for jobs, let's take matters into our own hands. First of all, let's pass Obama's jobs bill.
Then let's eliminate all the tax breaks that benefit the wealthy. Let's eliminate tax breaks for oil companies and tax breaks for off-shoring American jobs. Following the 999 formula by Herman Cain, let's impose a 9% sales tax on all day trades, hedge fund trades, and derivative trades. None of these stock market transactions create jobs.
Then let's impose an emergency surtax on the incomes of the superrich, which kicks in whenever the unemployment rate rises above 6%. Then we can fund jobs in public works projects. Look at the 2009 report by the American Society of Civil Engineers. There's plenty of work to be done. In additon, extreme weather, triggered by global climate change will impose additional strains on our infrastructure, meaning we'll need to spend even more in the future than we are spending now.
In short, let's tax the greedy to fund jobs for the needy.
That's the only way to solve the problem of unemployment.
We need to start a campaign looking for who will be the first? Which corporation will be the first to say "I was wrong and I'm bringing the jobs BACK to America!" They will have plenty of free instant adverstising and support when they do.
