EmpireGeorge, your right to a point...

While corporations in and of themselves may not necessarily be GOOD or EVIL, their actions often don't align with the best interests of the citizens of this country nor the well being of our way of life.
In the case of let's say, GoldMan Sachs, while what they did wasn't "directly illegal" is sure as hell could be thought of as treasonous. Especially considering of the way they've directly manipulated both the US Government and the world economy, leading up to the present situation we have today. Hell, last time I checked, most of these clowns are running the FED and can pretty much count on our congress doing their bidding to prevent the next great financial catastrophe Goldman's can cook up to cover their books.

A long time ago, in order to even be a publicly traded company, you had to actually provide proof to regulators of how your business was going to benefit the public. Not so anymore today.

I wonder if the press is going to search out all the nut jobs that are at these rallies and try to tar the entire crowd like they did at tea party rallies? My guess is they won't because they support what they are doing. So far I've seen anti-Semite's; 911 Truthers; several guys that have obvious serious mental disorders and victims of alien abduction (OK I made that one up).

What I've yet to see is serious support of the protest by any of the soon-to-be presidential candidates. Makes me wonder if they're afraid to bite the hand that feeds them?

All the more reason to abolish cooperate campaign donations.

As usual, Angry Mobster misrepresents the point. But for unions he and we would be working in our own excrement up to our thighs in our own waste lifting the boulders overhead to the next slave to build the next Koch Brothers pyramid. , but for the unions. They are the load bearing walls that support the entire structure of the middle class and the shock troops laying on the barbed wire of job security to create a foundation increasing non-union employees inadequate terms of employment or face organization to improve the conditions non-union employers are forced to acknowledge
Good, old divide and conquer propoganda, mpbster. Jealousy and envy misdirection to the facts that in 1980, the top 1% received 8% of total US income for that year. In 2007, that scrape tripled (3X)ro 23% as GWB's tax cuts for the rich put us in a wealth distribution disgrace that Christ woulld cry over.

Protest like this are sad enough. With about half of its participants are just looking form someone to blame for their personal failures. They haven't been able to succeed so it must be someones fault other than theirs. The others no doubt legitimately have something to say.

The National Unions though are parasitic groups that have destroyed the Legitimacy of Local Labor Movement and have lost credibility and joining this is the Unions way of looking for some sort of Legitimacy. All these parasites is Body's not strength...

=========

Rick the only thing I see as pathatic is the ideology that you are expressing. Why would anyone demean someone who is acting in the behalf of everyone in this nation excluding perhaps the top one percent of the population?

When the dogma you preach is harmful to you doesn't it create a dilemma about the reality of the dogma? Can you truthfully say that Wall Street in conjunction with Main Street Banking did not create the Recession? Are that because of the support of both Wall Street, and the International banking system, provided to American Corporations to move their manufacturing to Europe and Asia that they are not the primary contributors to not only the jobs drained from the American economy, but also to the current banking mess in Europe that may drag us into a new and deeper recession?

If you wish to leave your blinders on - please do so - but in return I would request that you refrain from comments such as this post until you know what you are really talking about.

Every American who isn't one of those in the top one percent should be supporting these folks regardless of what your political thinking is. Why? Because the result of this outpouring can only be for the betterment of the American economy.

These baby socialists and communists have no credibility protesting Wall St when they should in be in DC protesting Obama and the politicians who bailed Wall St, the Banks and the Auto Industry.
They got the word from groups like MoveOn and other leftwing organizers to use this as ploy to draw attention away from Obama since he is in deep trouble and unelectable with the current economic and unemployment problems.

Now the blood sucking Unions are getting involved. Who is next?
The Black Caucus, illegal aliens, gays, etc.
I hope NYC has an early October blizzard and chases these leftwing radicals away.
Obama is going to be defeated and no circus full of freaks, societal misfits or socilist radicals will change that.

LOL - You might want to google who gave Wall Street a trillion dollars in bailouts. Here's a hint: It was Bush. I know, I know. "Facts" and "reality" are so irritating when you're trying to sell your bogus narrative.

"Quote, JarHeadVet64: These baby socialists and communists have no credibility protesting Wall St when they should in be in DC protesting Obama and the politicians who bailed Wall St, the Banks and the Auto Industry."

Wrong!

Evertthing thats taken place over the last few years is a direct result of BIG money influencing government, what better way to change DC then to openly shame the criminals at their doors step. Wall Streets biggest fear is that we'll all one day rally against them. Now that it's starting to take place, they'll have to call in the NYPD to attempt to squelch the masses.
