This should be an outrage to every American.. We have a right to privacy in this country and pervert thugs shouldn't be allowed to break the law in the name of security.

Hiding contraband in dirty diapers or a dirty diaper pail is a standard practice for amateur smugglers.

A loaded diaper that brings down a plane certainly would be a first for the history books. However, if you don't want the scanner, the body searches, the hassle, there isn't anywhere you can't go via other modes of transportation to avoid it.

TSA had her change her Depends with her daughter in a private room with female TSA Agents. They did her and her fellow passengers a favor. Get over it or don't fly.

freeamerica31 you are a paradox. Choosing a name like that then saying this that are diametrically opposed to freedom. I don't think you know what freedom really is.

Shame on the TSA -------------this is nothing short of elder abuse. The women is 95 years old and dying. I would to see family members who are seniors in the Obama administration be subjected to this abuse.

Quit blowing it out of porportion. She was taken to a private room. The TSA probably did her and her fellow passengers a favor by allowing her to change her Depends. Would you as an elderly person want to sit in your escrement for a long plane ride? How about the people sitting around having to wonder the whole flight what was that smell? Most of those folks probably would have complained to the airline and demanded refunds. I see people who just don't want to wait in line. It's slow, intrusive and it's still no security guarantee. You still have a choice to not fly. As long as you have a choice you shouldn't be complaining, but that's right we Americans always like the easy way...nothing is easy anymore.

TSA is now trying to lie their way out of this. They undoubtedly forced or coerced her to remove the diaper and needed a day to concoct their story. Given TSA's proclivity for deceit and experience in that area one would think that they could cook up a lie in much less time.
Even if they "technically" did not order her to remove the diaper, the fact that their procedures are SSI and that their clerks make rules up on their own is still makes TSA responsible. If the procedures and policies were clearly articulated and communicated there would be fewer incidents.
Earlier today FOIA documents obtained by EPIC confirmed that TSA lied about the scanner radiation and that there is a cancer cluster among screeners in Boston.

With their track record of lying Pistole and TSA lost all credibility with the public long ago.

The TSA has given America the false impression that they are preventing a terrorist attack. Sadly, I would not be surprised that we will be attacked again as before...when we least expect it.

Yes, I can understand scanning and x-rays. Like I said before,if I was a "bad guy," I would not be hiding anything in my clothes. There are other ways to hide things in our bodies. Pat-downs are a joke, and it is just what many call theater.

death surprises everyone. It only takes one hurricane or tornado to kill hundreds, and your chances of that happening are far greater.

TSA troll.

Most of the pro-TSA comments are posted by TSA and DHS employees. A check of the IP will usually reveal that the location to be in the Washington DC or surrounding VA area. Does anyone really believe that someone would bother to post a comment defending TSA unless the poster or a family member worked for TSA? Even those indifferent to the abuse of passengers would not likely bother to defend the most reviled Federal agency in history.

These pro-TSA comments are confirmation that TSA is waging a propaganda campaign intended to convince Americans that it is somehow acceptable to have their genitals and those of their children fondled in public by minimum wage Federal clerks.

then maybe you'd be surprised to know that you have over 1000 times the chance of being killed in a car accident on the way to the airport than you do as a result of a terrorist act on a plane.
