This is just his way of getting back to the United States. There were no drugs found in her body and she wasn't raped. If he stayed in Thiland he would probably be hung for sexually assulting a child. Here they get a slap on the hand!

I find it very sick to hear an ad on this site for erectile disfunction while reading about a child rapist. CBS should really turn that add off when posting such related news.

I am inclined to agree with a few of the postings. I think this guy is a sick pedofile who is craving some sort of "sick limelight" and used this case to do it. The details and where he was located at the time do not match. His details do not coincide with the actual details of her sase information i.e., DNA, details, etc. If they find that his DNA does not match with the crime scene DNA, they should lock him away in an institution anyway because he is obviously very mentally ill. His statements about this case show that fact.

The comment about the school and the drugs (when there was no school and there were no drugs found in her system) worry me that this is not the guy. I hope they have more than his creepy obsession. I wonder if at least the school part was a misquote.

I am fasinated by the following article and comparison of Karr's photo w/ a sketch a well known psychic did back in 1998. If this is the right guy, then this coincidence is very uncanny.

Until we know the "details he knows that were not made public," we cannot be certain he actually did it. He is obsessive about this case, and could have read many things about it, giving the impression of being, literally, an "insider" to the case, to the home and to JonBenet. Certainly, he is very ill and the small children of Bangkok, Thailand are a little safer; however, remember that Thailand is, and other countries in that region are, known as places where little children of all ages are available for just such pedophiles. It is also very likely that this person was molested himself as a child; a history that often reproduces itself in this way. P.S. Why is Lara Karr his ex?

If I remember correctly, the files on the case that were on the police computer had been broken into early in the case. This would constitute compromised evidence.

Does this suggest anything regarding details "not made public"?

Did Karr just need free transportation back to the U.S. from Thailand? Nothing that has been reported to date convinces me that he was involved in JonBenet's death.

Extract from the above article:
"He said it was second-degree murder. He said it was unintentional," Suwat said. He said Karr told Thai interrogators that he picked JonBenet up at her school and brought her to the basement.

THERE WAS NO SCHOOL THAT DAY. JonBenet was murdered on the night of CHRISTMAS DAY (NOT CHRISTMAS EVE, CHRISTMAS DAY! JONBENET WAS FOUND DEAD ON DECEMBER 26, 1996).

This man is very ill and having an imaginary love affair with the child as she was 10 years ago. The "confession" and the events subsequent to it place him and JonBenet "together" which is satisfying his sick desire. Mary Lacy (Boulder DA) is wasting everyone's time.

Until all the facts are brought to light, Mr. Karr's confession should be taken at face value and prosecution should begin immediately! He seems to know too much that somone not close to the crime wouldn't know and if he has kept this hidden for 10 years, then he deserves severe punishment, if not the death penalty(which should be carried out posthaste after his conviction-not several years down the road). The untold suffering of the Ramsey family and the rumors and innuendos which still cloud their lives should be brought to bear in any trial in which Mr. Karr is the defendant.

CSB should be ashamed for the careless subtitle on this artice. This sicko did not "have *** with" a six year old. He RAPED her! This wording is damaging and disrespectful. Get it right next time!

how does one accidentally strangle someone? And why does he keep saying I love her (present tense)?

Karr is obviously obsessed with children and is sick. He is trying to put himself in the center of this case and even states that it's too complicated, because what he's saying never happened. She didn't die in the middle of the afternoon on a school night as others have pointed out.

People never cease to amaze me at how freaky they truly can be.

Unfortunately, this man cannot be the murderer of JonBenet if his testimony is that he brought her home from school and took her to the basement where her death occurred. She was at home the night of the murder-- not in school.

Suwat said. He said Karr told Thai interrogators that he picked JonBenet up at her school and brought her to the basement.
There wouldn't have been school that day, the night she was killed, as it was Christmas Eve.

But according to the time line it states December 25, 1996: The Ramseys attend a Christmas dinner at 5:00 p.m. at the Fleet White residence. After the family returns home, JonBenit is carried? to bed at about 9:30 p.m. The family had plans to fly to Michigan early the next morning.

Then there was the mention of Kerr's ex-wife who stated that "she and her then-husband were living in Alabama, and she was with him the entire Christmas season."

I think there is an obsession on his part in this as he spent allot of time on her murder:

Karr's ex-wife, Lara Karr, said John Karr often spent time reading up on the cases of Ramsey

His father told The Denver Post that while Karr was in college as an adult, a professor encouraged him to write a book about the Ramsey case after being impressed with a school paper.

Things just don't add up with what has been released to the press.
