What are fighting for in Iraq? To install a U.S. hsting Shia government that supports Iran. To secure future an oil supply for our thirst nation? Yes we are because the *** is ready to hit the fan. One Iranians are moving to accept Eurodollars for oil, the same thing Saddam did which led to his downfall. They will be making their final decision by March. This is HUGE because if OPEC follows it lead then we are in fact broke because our dollars value is pegged to oil. We will attack Iran with Juda because they have nukes?? Juda is preparing airstrikes on Iran and we will help them accomplish their mission. We have U.S. warships in the area which carry radar jamming planes. Juda needs to save face after that disater in Lebanon and the war hawks are flying. The question is How will Iran respond. The one thing will ensure is the death of moderate Arab governments, because religious frevor will spread like wild fire throughout the Middle East and we will know what holy war means. That is what we are fighting for. Bush supporters I ask you Is it worth it?

One other thing: If you support this war in Iraq, go over there NOW and let someone over there come home. Stop thinking you're anything but a coward. You are a coward (worse then that in fact) if you support this war and aren't over there fighting it.
Go see what it's like to kill someone and to be a part of a group of people who are being killed.
Also, pay for the war yourself! If you support this war you should be the one paying for it. Start shelling out your earnings to the IRS now!

My daughter's friend said it best: "If they only wanted Saddam gone, why didn't they just arrest him before the war?"

It's time to fully investigate this administration, especially as it has subverted the Constitution of the United States, and too as it has led us into this war and the crimes it has commited throughout the war.

My family and I do not want to have anything to do with this fascist government. We want the heads of it and those responsible for putting us on the path into fascism arrested, tried, convicted and hung. Simple as that.

Those who ordered the bombing of civilian targets in Iraq (500 pound bombs in residential neighborhoods) must be brought to justice, as well as those who followed those orders and, indeed, dropped bombs and fired missles into civilian neighborhoods.

Stop this war now! Stop following orders to kill Iraqi people! Get out of Iraq now!

While it is true that the personal defects of Mr Bush have come out to show a fatally flawed character (and one that was evident long ago), the unbridled misuse of power and disrespect for the rule of law has reduced our strong nation (rubber stamp Congress, cronyism, etc, etc.)EXCEPT that America spoke to power last November. Mr Bush will never apologize or back down; his character will not allow it and being strong and resolute are his own (fatally falwed) perceptions of his leadership.

If Mr Bush does not back down from the ridiculous notion of a "victory", his delusion must be stopped.

If we are a democracy, our democratic leadership has to step up now. Mr Bush will not back down (remember that he speaks to a different father). Our brave soldiers are being picked off on a daily basis. For what?

There is no "plan", there never was one except in la-la land ("we will be met with flowers and ..."). There was no attention to history (reasons why Bush41 did not go to Baghdad; history of the Middle East). Just willful ignorance and banality.

As our soldiers continue being targeted in a cross-fire, what is the solution? Hear Mr Bush's plan on Wednesday, demand accountable milestones by the month; if no progress and no reversal, impeach for gross violations of the US Constitution after six months.

The White House gave a number of reasons why John Negroponte was booted downstairs to a job in the State Dep't. The real reason was probably that in April, 2006 he stated that IF the Iranians were trying to build a nuclear weapon that it would take them ten years. In Nov, 2006, the CIA issued a secret report that stated that they had found no evidence that the Iranians are trying to build any nukes. Both of these reports countered the White House constant lies and the "faith based intell" from the Israelis that the Iranians will have nukes within a year if we don't blow them up. A pack of neo-con Zionists got us into Iraq and now they want us to also attack Iran. Enough Already! Start by impeaching Cheney, then Bush.

Maybe I'm just an out in the sticks redneck but it seems to me El Presidente is trying to set up some fall guys here in particular the Democratic Congress and his old foe Senator McCain- and this all paves the way for Jeb to make the grand entry just in time to continue the dynasty.

If the Democratic Congress oppose W for the escalation then they become the fall guy to blame for the debacle. How could they as a whole support an escalation after that election?

If the troops go in and the plan fails anyway (likely) the Sen. McCain get the hex because this is the McCain doctrine after all (sending more of our young).

El Presidente will still be fighting the war clear through the rest of his term and the presidential election and continuing to hope against hope that somehow the phoenix will arise from the ashes. Wishing that the chants and smoke and mirrors and unknown events can somehow change the fickle tide of public opinion.

Listening to stopBushnow reminds me of an old man who gets every bit of news and thinking from shows that focus on UFO's and conspiracy theories. Hey stopBushnow, maybe this year we'll find out Bush was involved in the Kennedy assasination? I mean what are you talking about? "... before the scrap pile and a thorough on board investigation ..." I bet you didn't think we would win the Cold War either? WE MUST BE PERSISTENT and -- like our great country always does which is what makes us and freedom oriented, representative governments great -- is we continue to look for solutions and results. Is it easy? Is it pretty? No, but WE ARE GOING TO WIN AND PERSEVERE!!!

Ridiculous. Judge Judy would say, "Are you crazy? Why did you go back to Mr. Wonderful?" It must be clear to anyone that this sick man, George W, will NEVER listen and NEVER learn. He is a studied failure and he will continue to fail for us until he is removed from office.

In the meantime we let him get everybody killed for nothing.

By the way, if you haven't noticed, Bush doesn't care in the slightest. He doesn't.
