- Judges are already weak enough. McCain and Bush have undermined the judicial system as it is. If McCain is President, you can kiss abortion rights goodbye.

- Boy what an arrogant jack***. He just expressed a lot of disdain for any system of checks and balances. Judges by definition are activists. If a law is unconstitutional, they are supposed to act and strike it down. Its part of the checks and balances the founding fathers intended. These republicans like Bush and McCain want a bunch of yes men on the court so they can do whatever they want and impose whatever moral standards they want. NO THANKS. McCain just lost my vote. McCain seems to be speaking mor out of jealosy over thier power than legal rationale.

- McBush doesn''t need to waste his time worrying about judges.
McBush and the GOP are staring up into a growing tsunami bearing down on them.
Due to the extended race for the Democratic nomination, MILLIONS AND MILLIONS of new voters have registered and participated on the democrats side. Once the nom is settled, they will come together in a perfect storm that will set America back on a sane course. McBush may not win a single state. Who would vote for more of the Mcsame we"ve been put through?
Oh, and I would like to personally thank that great American, Rush Limbaugh, for his contribution in this growing tsunami via OPERATION BACKFIRE.
Perhaps a new moniker is in order, El Rushbo. How about LANDSLIDE LIMBAUGH! Yes.....it is PERFECT! .HA HA HA HA HA HA HA! .Single-handedly turns the general election into a ROUT! Good ol LANDSLIDE LIMBAUGH. Remember to be careful what you wish for, LANDSLIDE.
Thank you sir......with all that talent lent to you by GAWD-D it is now clear EXACTLY where God stands.
Dear God: Thank you for giving us LANDSLIDE LIMBAUGH. Amen.
LANDSLIDE LIMBAUGH...........................~

- oldone, You don''t think you''ll be able to retire. Talk to the 80 greeter at Wal Mart who''es there because of the GOP. And if you were a "successful" business person how come you were too dumb to protect your retirement. I did and live comfortably with-out the goverment.

- oldone60 whats sad is that in the last eight years Bush has hocked your grandchildren and great-grandchildren to pay for our tax cuts. If you are going to dance you must pay your way and we have not been paying our way.

- Evidently Oldone thinks he or she is the only person in the country who has worked hard towards retirement, and is just stupid enough to think that the Bush/Cheney/Halliburton/Saudis cartel cares a great deal about his work history. Perhaps the trillions flushed down the toilet of Iraq would have been helpful to all those lefties who never worked a day in their lives Right?

- Element51: You are correct that I soon will be eligible for S/S - but not really, because I expect your thieving leftist friends to "means test" it away from me. You see, I have worked hard all my life and have saved for retirement, so to the left I am good for only one thing - to shovel money out. If Obama is elected, I really don''t expect to be able to retire.
The government certainly has a right to collect taxes, and to support the elderly and children. (That''s the usual left wing rant - "look at the elderly poor-look at the children..." ) But I resent the left''s attitude that because I am hard working and successful, I''m some kind of bad guy and I need to be taxed more and more just to support some socialist feel-good scheme. - Reply to this comment
- I am soooooooooooooooo sick of ANY and ALL POLITICS at this point that I could scream AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. Bush now sez that the Democraps are responsible for the housing, energy, and general high cost of living while he goes to the bank to count the BILLIONS he and his administration have ripped off from the American people PERSONALLY. Bush is a carpetmunching, weiner eating piece of sewage *** that just needs to be flushed TWICE to Paraguay and forgotten. He has SOLD over and out OUR COUNTRY,ITS WAY OF LIFE, and CRAPPED ON ALL THAT MAKES THIS COUNTRY WHAT IS NOT TODAY BUT ONCE WAS. Big STAIN McCain is NO CHOICE, and neither is Which way did he go Obama. Our economy is slipping faster and faster every day, we will economically be bankrupt by the end of August as both a country and government, then what? Bush is, HANDS DOWN, the worst president to ever crawl out from under a pile of cow flop and be president, appointed or otherwise. Change is going to either be for the best or for the end of all we are as human beings.

- Element51, very well put. But you are wasting your time trying to reason with a red-neck Knucklehead NASCAR right wing nut case like Oldone60.

- McCain''s using the instruction booklet, he found left behind no doubt wedged between the cushions. A book that took 8 years to write. It reads how; under false pretenses America invaded and attacked another country who was not an immediate threat. A time when political pressure on surrounding nations could have controlled a dictator. About how Saddam did not have weapons of mass destruction. No missiles capable of reaching the U.S. nor any that would bring a serious state of peril to any of our allies. From this teaching McCain, admits he will continue to appoint Judges. Members who are self-described members of a guarded club. An organization reflecting ideas that could have been depicted in a movie boasting hate through a Third Reich symbolism and process. A clever threat created through a pseudoscientific process. Making it appear, that foes are using hearsay evidence to describe a wild playground rumor. Despite this, we are faced again with fear tactics that these sort of appointments are needed to continue the %u201CYes Man Brigade%u201D assembled by %u201CW%u201D. Like a bad movie, but as planned and on schedule, a one party system with control over all citizens, religions and civil rights. The Grand Ole Party!
