This law is unconstitutional, we even have a lower court judge say so.
why, the mandatory part, Americans will have to pay the government not to have health insuance, the goverment can only make americans pay TAXES. Show americans in the constitution where as a citizen I HAVE to pay money to a private interprise company (insurace companies). This is the same as the coal miners who had to pay their employer at company store to live. The past congress (PELOSI/REED) are happy they shuved this bill down our throats, now its time for WE thr PEOPLE to respond by voting them out of office. It a good thing the congress delayed the bill 2014 because those who voted it in will be out of office. ONCE MIDDLE CLASS PEOPLE HAVE TO CHOSE BETWEEN FEEDING THIER FAMILIES OR PAY THEIR HEALTH INSURACE TAX,you'll see protest and possible violenece over this bill. This bill only benifits 2 groups, the poor who can not afford health insurance and the insurance companies.

The price tag is based on unregulated costs of services and insurance company greed. The polls reflect how well the company's millions on propaganda have worked. It also faces the truth about the aging population and projected care needs which Bush hid from for 8 years.

enlighten me. I am disabled from auto accident, lost my job and am on social security plus title 19 for medical and prescriptions from another provider free. flame all you want, but this is my only source of life. my wife, on the other hand has disabilities as well but is denied SS, medical, prescription services. she has outstanding medical expenses we cannot pay for. just how will this new Obamacare help her? unemployed, so no medical coverage there, state will not cover her so will she be taxed/fined? give me a break...explain this in layman's terms.

The only things I can see Americans grappling about when it comes to health care is the misinformation about it by the party who opposed it.

My dog knows the difference when I try to feed it fresh food, or something reheated or spiced different and it will just stand there and look at me and turn its head to one side with an expression that asks, "What is this you are trying to feed me?"

I can easily understand the frustration of the followers of the GOP because they are not as discriminating as my dog. They eat everything fed to them by their unsavory leaders, get sick of it and then later have to depend on the same unsavory leaders who sickened them for some help to recover from it. It is a miserable existence and then later some break away only to follow some anger movement called the Tea Party and find it isn't much better eating what they feed over there.

Many Democrats used to be right-wingers who found a new master to serve. They are happy, peaceful, and live with hope in their lives. They aren't fed lies to digest or survive, but instead they work collectively and gather their food for preparation and know what their next meal will be. They had skin on it from the beginning and enjoy the rewards and fulfillment from their challenging and meaningful work.

My happy, peaceful and very selective dog lives like a Democrat. It is fed well and shows more willingness to participate in its own destiny than the dissatisfied bloggers trying the survive their unsavory right wing leaders, who neglect and abuse them until election time.

On January 15, 2009, UnitedHealth Group announced a $350 million settlement of three class action lawsuits filed in Federal court by the American Medical Association, UnitedHealth Group members, healthcare providers, and state medical societies for not paying out-of-network benefits. In July 2008, WellPoint subsidiary Anthem Blue Cross agreed to a settlement with the California Department of Managed Health Care. To resolve allegations of improper policy rescissions (cancellations), WellPoint paid $10 million and reinstated 1,770 policy-holders whose plans they had cancelled. They also agreed to provide compensation for any medical debts incurred by these policy-holders in the meantime. This is the future of "NoBoehnerCare"

Last November 1, 2010 Humana announced that revenues grew 9% to $8.42 BILLION. Humana's NET income grew to $1.0 BILLION from $647 million the year before. How do you think they DO that? I'll tell you. Back in the 1980s, health insurers paid out 95% of premium dollars in healthcare. Today, they only pay out 80% (only because they are forced to payout that minimum). Their increased profits go to shareholders and not to their customers who need medical services. This is "NoBoehnerCare"
