- EVERY time the government has to provide ordinary citizens with real service, suddenly the government is bankrupt, the program is too much drain on the taxes collected from those ordinary citizens for 50 years, and the ordinary citizens are responsible for the national debt.
If a corporation like GM, any failed bank that got trillions of TARP money borrowed from other bankers so taxpayers could pay for it, amazingly expensive proxy wars for Israel and the oil barons, a few hundred billion to NASA to waste looking for water on some planet we'll never go to, or other idiotic research funding like the Global Warming religion....we have plenty of money for that, a virtual blank check.
Tough luck NWO! You've STOLEN 15.7% of my income in SSI TAXES for over 50 years and NOW is my time to collect the benefits of MY INVESTMENT into the socialist system FORCED upon me since I was 12. GOVERNMENT forced this TAX scheme upon us and GOVERNMENT is going to pay....or else!

- Mortarman, I am fully conversant with special appropriations. It should be fairly obvious to anyone with a grade point average higher than 2.3 that the money would have been better appropriated for the US citizens or in fact not spent at all.

- What is the medicare, etc. tax rate now?....about 3.0%? Raise it slightly ( I don't know how much ) to start filling the $$$ void.

Try this on for size mortarman. Are you against property taxes also? How about registering your car every year(tax)? Those funds are used for local services and you pay whether you want to or not. Of course some of that dough goes to your state and some goes to the FG.

As usual, you libs lose sight of what we conservatives are saying. We are NOT saying that taxes are bad. Paying taxes to pay for services that are constitutionally permissible is fine. Thus, if I pay a sales tax on my gasoline to my state government, and they use that to pay road crews to build, repair, etc the roads in my state...then that is me paying for services and goods purchased on my behalf.
But, taking money out of my paycheck, and handing it to another person to pay for their healthcare or retirement...is not paying for a good or service. It is forcing me to take care of another person. That is a form of slavery. It is immoral and it is evil!
