The Bushoccio Crime Family and the GOP spent like drunken sailors. They were robbing the public of their money to give to the rich to control all the wealth of America. Now that this has been done, they now want to blame someone else like Obama. Bushoccio left a $12.5 trillion dollar debt after taking over a surplus from the Dems.

Another reason why BARRY SOETORO should not be U.S. President.

I am confused with my fellow Americans. President Obama came into office with a huge deficit, in the middle of a never ending war, and a recession. Why do we blame him? He has taken immediate measures to help to turn around our recession, taken action to end the war, made move to improve our health care system and has repeatedly reached across party lines to encourage bi partisan cooperation and teamwork. Now he has formed a bi partisan committee try to balance the enormous deficit he was left with, these are tough choices but these are tough times that require drastic action.
It is you wealthy , greedy Americans that don't want to pay any taxes, want all entitlements for free and refuse to give our President the support and respect he deserves. Shame on YOU!!!!!!
I am in full support of the budget cuts to balance the budget. I am also in full support of our President, who I believe has shown strength, professionalism, poise, and dedication to attempting to fix our countries many issues. However without the support of our elected officials, we will get nothing accomplished. I for one, am sick and tired of special interests groups steering our government. I am disgusted with our elected officials in Congress not doing what is right, for fear of political suicide.
I truly believe we must eliminate all lobbyist from Congress. All proposed bills should be posted for the American citizens to vote weather a bill should even go to congress for approval.

Your article about Medicare and your reporting that most Medicare recipients, 90% is what I believe you said, is TOTALLY WRONG. For the last 15 years I have worked in a hospital tracking Medicare. ALL Medicare insurance payments come with either a co-insurance or a deductable and sometimes both. For any inpatient stay this year they must pay a deductable of $1,100.00 and it goes up every year. For outpatient services, the co-insurance is 20% of Medicare's payment, for a cardiac cath, that doesn't require an inpatient stay, a patient can owe over $4,000.00. The only way that a patient does not owe that is if they have Medicaid. (To qualify for Medicaid in Michigan you must earn less than $600.00 per month and have assets worth less than $2,000.00) If you are at or below the poverty level, but do not qualify for Medicaid, some hospitals are willing to discount the amount the patient owes. There are many times that I see co-insurance amounts, that I would not be able to pay, even though I am employed. Please correct this error tomorrow, I watch you every night. You are still my favorite national news network, even if you were wrong this time.

Social Security should be untouched by both parties. That money does not belong to the government, they are just holding it until the people who put it there needs it. It is the people's money. The government has no right to use it for anything else. Stop the money that goes to prisoners, they have broken the law and should have no rights until they have served their time. They also should have to work and pay for their keep. Stop money going to illegal immigrants they have no rights to any benefits from this country until they go through the naturalization process like our forefathers did. Stop some of the welfare, we all know there are thousands on this program just because they are too lazy to work. They have children just to get more money and these poor kids don't have a chance with parents like that anyway. There are many areas where money can be saved if the people in Washington really want to. What about all of those grants that are given out for such stupid reasons (ie are the gays among ducks.) Who in their right mind would finance something that stupid and who cares anyway. I just don't understand why everyone wants to jump on Social Security and Medicare first. I just ask that those people we put into office would stop and use their brains (assuming they have one). I could go on and on but I will stop now.

Perhaps every individual with a full-time job could start a pre-tax savings account now to pay for their retirement healthcare. This could start when a person is in their 20s but would need the government to set up the 'pre'tax' aspect. We're all going to be paying for it, either way you slice it.

I will never understand why the American people get so angry at the Democrats that they vote in a party that is totally against the best interest of 98% of the American people. The Democrats are no where near perfect, and President Obama has been disappointing in many ways this last two years, however, giving power over to the enemy of the middle class, the unemployed, the poor and the elderly is hardly the answer. The Republicans stand before the people, deny extending the unemployment benefits, and hold tax cuts for the middle class hostage until they get the tax cuts for the 2% richest people in America. This of course includes themselves since Issa, McConnell and the rest are all multi-millionaires. They have no shame about it either, they have the nerve to say the mid-term election proved we all wanted tax cuts for the rich and for them to cut off funding for the extension of unemployment insurance. How crazy! These stupid and unnecessary tax cuts for the rich will add hundreds of billions to the deficit. Yet, the Republicans say with a straight face that is why they won the mid-term election, we all wanted them to hold our tax cuts hostage so the rich could get richer. No millionaire left behind, that is their motto!! Now maybe most that voted for the Republicans, and tea baggers, wish they had thought it out a little better. The main reason the Obama Administration has been less successful than they otherwise would have been is because the Republicans fought them tooth and nail, just to defeat Obama. Republicans hate Obama, and Obama wants to make friends out of these haters, go figure. Next the Republicans will attack social security and medicare, any many more programs that do not help the rich or corporations. The party of NO is also the party of the affluent, a bad combination. Look at what we now have running Congress, what a scary sight, hate spewing far right millionaires that have no regard for the middle class, the poor, the unemployed, the elderly, regulations, the truth or the deficit. Great job people! Learn to live with the deficit, it will only grow larger under the Republicans, it always has. If they do any cutting it will be on the backs of middle class America, including the elderly and disabled because they will never touch the rich or big corporations. That is what Republicans do.

Lets RAISE the wages of all the poor and middle class. Cutting wages and raising the retirement age is exactly what NOT to do.

The way to really save money is to stop the corporate welfare. The Republicans want to RAISE the deficit and the debt by extending the borrowed Bushoccio tax cuts for the rich.
