wow, some of these comments are from VERY ignorant people, I have been fighting an ecoli infection in my sinuses, (YES SINUSES since 08/2010. I have been on a Picc Line for long term antibiotic treament, & out of the 10 antibiotic/penicillins out there to treat this ecoli superbug, only 3 will work for me as per the cultures.... I am still not better and need to get yet another Picc line tomorrow to begin a new antibiotic therapy since the previous one I was on for treament recently, is already showing I am becoming "intermediately resistant" to it. So its not just a common stomach bug to just "get over it" honey, try walking in my shoes for a few weeks and I guarantee you will take this more seriously! for all the people who actually have a brain & understand this epidemic, something like this happens for the simple fact that Doctors treat people with "quick fixes" and just prescribe antibiotics without doing a true culture (such as a sinus culture or urine sample) to see exactly what bug is causing you to be sick. so then you become resistant when you take comething you dont really need. Add a few million people to that mix and communities become resistant to the meds abecause that bug mutated itself. this is a very serious issue, and I hope and pray I get better OR they find new cures.

E. coli -- is a common bacteria in the human gut. Get over it. If you get a nasty skin infection I would use Betadine [Iodine]liquid or ointment -- no bacterium or fungus is resistant to that as of yet.

They're bacteria not viruses. Antibiotics do not kill viruses

I agree with mo39brian - scientifically speaking, regular air duct cleaning can kill these viruses.

wow, this is so scary, I am very scared of this virus, and hopefully they will invent something healthy to prevent. For now I am taking care of my health, and I read that regularly cleaning of all the vents at home can also do miracles for our health. I am doing air duct cleaning every 1 year, and must say, I feel great. People should get more knowledge about it.

This isn't surprising, all the antibiotics fed to livestock as a measure to keep them from getting sick, not treating sick livestock. All those medications are making the bacteria resistant to medication. Those antibiotics are in our rivers, the water we drink and the food we eat. This is getting very serious.

The increasing downfall of or recourse actions of man kind will start from what man puts in his mouth instead of what he puts in his mind.

a wedding dress of some type matches the idea of how ecoli used to spread when it did during the 1980s as a heartbreak to some during the bedbug era when under our skin mattered and that is the correct interpretation of the film on your birthday.

I really wish that the drugs that they found to work for him were mentioned here. . . I have been fighting a recurring UTI for 28 years . . .yeah, that's right, it is not a typo, 28 years! Multiple doctors prescribed the same antibiotics over and over yet still no relief. Seems to be a reliable source of income for the doctors . . .know wonder my insurance just went up another $150/month. Has anyone got a clue?
