- We are a free speach society. We can try and take away free speach in order to shut up people like pastor Jones. But do we want that or is it possible. Islam must stop wearing their feelings on their sleaves or their will be a final conflict that most of us don't want and many welcome.

- Yes, he does have Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religion, however, that does NOT mean that the media has to broadcast the event!!! And NO that is not censorship!! All media has the ability to choose not to broadcast something that may cause harm. That falls under the Media's right to Freedom of Speech.

- Although there is a public safety exception to freedom of speech (you can't shout "fire!" in a crowded room) it doesn't apply here. This so-called preacher is a bigot and a moron, but you can't let those who would threaten violence dictate what can a person say or do in this country. If the mob were allowed to rule, political cartoonists who criticized the Prophet Mohammed...and others...could be silenced.
Yes, we'll survive this, but I place a major share of the blame for this event on the media. There is no law that says that they have to cover this and they have amplified this to the point where it almost seems that they are promoting it. No news editor has to put these images on television...it could just be reported on.

- Burning of the Quran! I hope that all national and international broadcasting stations DO NOT show or even acknowledge that the event takes place. I am Catholic but as probably 99% of Americans feel, that the burning of ANY religious groups "book" is completely wrong. I hope that Muslims around the world realize that the FEW that are going to do this despicable act, is NOT supported by the vast majority of Americans and people around the world. Please accept my personal apology for such uneducated people.
