- The age to get a license to drive is WHAT? I thought it was at least 16, and in some States the 16 years-olds cannot drive after dark, or drive with a friend. There was a 13 year old killed recently. What are we thinking?

- The profession of auto racing is likened to police work or military. You can spend a lifetime training and it all end in just seconds. When they put on the gear start the engines and take off you can only pray and rely on expierence. When a police officer or military person raises thier hands takes the oath and straps on the guns the same rule applies.

- Why does he have to wait till he is 21, I'm sure Joey Logano drove in cup befor he was 21,almost seems like JR was under 21

- This kid could become the best ever if you only count the hype CBS News has given him -- or his own mouth. Let him come up through the ranks like everyone else, then see how he does. If you judge people on their own merits and not just what they tell you they can do, it's more credible.

- Wonderful to see this young man pursuing a worthwhile activity. Glad his parents are able to afford to support his desire. Too bad Jamie France, family member of the NASCAR founding family France didn't begin his driving career earlier he might have had at least as much success as this 12 year-old boy.

- CBS looks 9 years into the future and comes up with a prediction that some 12 year old kid will go on to smoke NASCAR's best drivers? What the heck are these people smoking???? Sounds like a silly Disney movie to me.

- Please hold all of your negative comments. While most american kids play football, baseball and soccer, this child was allowed to chase his dream. My child is at the racetrack with Gray every week as well as several others. Their sport of choice is no different than that of others, we are just fortunate enough to be in an area that is convenient for racing. Don't call these kids or our families trash, this is not a cheap or mindless sport. Can you as an adult handle a race car at 100 mph for 100 laps in 100 degree heat? Probably not. Jealousy seems to have taken over the comment section here!! Good job and good luck Gray!!
