- Well great!
Its good to see that the majority of posters said the same thing I did.
Of all the discussions about what is going on. I am concerned with what has not happened! Oil rigs have been in the Gulf of Mexico for over
twenty years. Why is there not a plan on the books by any of the states
that deals with an oil spill? Crickets!!!!!!!!!!
Once we get past the politicizing, what grade would you give the Govenors of the Gulf states? If I lived in La. I would be in Bobby Jindals face! In the words of Janet Jackson, "What have you done for me lately?" Just a Thought! - Reply to this comment
- It's time for Billy Bob Jindal to crawl back into the sewer he came from. He's a lot worse than Kitty Palin because he has pretenses to intelligence without producing the goods when they are needed. This guy must never come within 500 miles of the White House.

- What's that, the local Republican governor isn't walking how he's talking?
Color me shocked. What's next, is he gonna line up to accept the stimulus money he said was bad for the country? Wait, he already did that didn't he? - Reply to this comment
- i SAID BEFORE, NOT HE WHO CRIES MOST IS GENUINE. JINDAL NEVER LOOKED GENUINE TO ME FROM THE WORD GO. HE SITS ON THE FENCE DOING NOTHING BUT TRIES TO ATTRACT ATTENTION. LAST WEEK HE TOLD US HE WANTED TO CONTACT THE WHITE HOUSE. OUT OF THE WHOLE GULF GOVERNORS HE SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY ONE WITH DIRECT ACCESS TO THE WHITEHOUSE!!!

- Thanks for shedding light on the issue. Bobby Jindal is just campaigning for the White House. He is going to the coast lines daily with small talk. Pointing fingers will not the problems solved. He is spending time more time campaigning from state to state and needs to take care of home. Help the health crisis that he messed up under the Foster administration and get Louisiana's economics in order. The Republicans are throwing stones and hiding their hands. WORK WITH PRESIDENT OBAMA instead of against him. He was just caught in one of his many lies. While he is shaking hands with the people he is stabbing them in the back. Thanks Katie.

- Bobby Jindal is a bigger idiot than Sarah Palin. What a pathetic hack, however he slithered his way into the Governors office I will never know. He wants to be a good ol boy but in reality he's just their tool and too stupid to know it or see it.

- Is Bobby Jindal still trying to come up with a plan to engage the national guard at his disposal to assist with this disaster? How long will his constituents need to wait before the governor acts on their behalf?

- "It's believed officials in Alabama, Florida and Mississippi and are reluctant to use more troops because their presence could hurt tourism."

"Believed" by who? This is nothing more than media propaganda and more blame shifting by the WH.
Pres. Obama would like Americans to believe it's just a matter of dialing 1-800-nationalguard and the troops appear ready to be deployed.
Pres. Obama left BP at the helm. Troops have to be paid and BP is footing the bill which means yards and yards of red tape for the states before they see a clean up detachment.
That poor man killed himself. What does Pres. Obama have to say about that? - Reply to this comment
- Thank you CBS and Katie Couric for helping your nation with incisive reporting!!!!
The rest of the "news" vendors FAILED MISERABLY as usual in enlightening our nation about the truth behind the lies. - Reply to this comment
