- What Americia needs is politicians that make decisions that they can live with, just like all of the citizens that these laws are made for. Talking the talk is easy but our elected people must be sure that every Americian is treated as fairly as the next one, including themselves. Just like our new health care law, all of our Government leaders should have to adopt any law that they expect the rest of us Americians to live with. These people above all others have the obligation to live their lives by example and accept the new laws that we have to obey in their personal lives to! No exceptions. Walk the walk to.

- And we wonder why some who's frustration has reached a melting point have taken to threating our policticians! The government in Washington DC no longer works for "We The People" they are working for "What's in it For Me".
Values and beliefs are traded for $ and political favors and the elected fools believe the people they represent are ignorant of their actions.
Unfortunality the politicians are correct in one area - a large part of the people they represent do not take the time to study and learn the facts......they blindly vote the party ticket.
The sign of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.....when will they learn? Sadly ...only when the freedoms and rights they take for granted are gone! - Reply to this comment
- Thailand got it right I'll bet their leaders are listening now and stuff like this happens every time the rich and the people who think their position is theirs through divine rite.
History repeating it's self.
.........................................................................- Anti-government protesters smashed a truck through the front gate of Thailand's parliament and briefly stormed the building this morning, sending lawmakers scrambling over fences to escape.
The Red Shirts are supporters of ousted Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra, a former telecom tycoon who was toppled in a 2006 military coup and now lives in exile in Dubai. They accuse the current prime minister, Abhisit Vejjajiva, of taking power undemocratically with the backing of rich Bangkok elites, and demand that he call new elections. - Reply to this comment
- Come on y'all. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that just about all of our current political representatives are crooks, cheats, and liars that talk a big game yet conveniently never deliver.
I am about as average a person as it gets. I get paid hourly, stay healthy, and haggled for cheap insurance as if I was talking to a used car dealer. I am a white guy who just shared a cold beer with my black neighbor to discuss and laugh about our lawns and lives. Racism is only around because you allow it to be, not because some politician made it happen.
This goes for you too News anchors, we all need to stop being lemmings to propaganda from both sides; become citizens of one country again (it is more possible than you know.); and take control of our country again. Normal people can be elected officials too! Please! - Reply to this comment
- The government of this country, no longer serves its people. We are rapidly moving towards a Chavez type of takeover, and patriots should be watching closely.

- The republican party is incapable of fostering a bi-partisan approach to solving many of the nation's problems because of a flawed point of view pertaining to fairness and equality. They have shown no imagination or initiative in dealing with problems, choosing instead to expend all of their efforts in defeating President Obama's agenda. A conservative viewpoint is their prerogative; however a lack of foresight and common sense in dealing with the issues will ultimately be their undoing.

These Selfish Uncaring people.
What is the funniest thing of all, is the Republicans which caused the Millions of layoffs and foreclosures by being paid off by the big companies have the nerve to criticize the Democrats for helping them to get
Jobs back, but are saying that they are moving too slow,

- Rush Limbaugh today: "We need to defeat these bastards,...we need to wipe them out." Have right-wing politics been reduced to calling people "*******" "*******" and spitting on people. And please don't give me that 'it was only a few' argument. John Boehner's rant in the chambers was deplorable. Classless, fraught with vitriol and tasteless emotionalism at its worst. The Republican Party and Republicans have denigrated themselves beyond salvation. Shameful. Vote us out. Fine. And then we'll vote you out again. We'll play ring around the rosy with you just fine. Working together would have been fine, but you just can't do it, can you. Right side of face: Oh, the Dems and libs don't want to include us in their discussions. Left side of face: Mitch McConnell demands that the Republican Party remain united in their front against President Obama and not cooperate with AN-Y-THING!! Hypocrites. Hypocrites. Hypocrites.

- We do need a third party. But not the foaming at the mouth "tea Party". They will only divide the Republicans, which isn't such a bad thing. (Why is ANYONE even listening to them anymore?) We don't need a tepid "Coffee Party" either. That's just more fracturing. What we need is a party for the rational people. You know, most of us. Too busy with working, finding work and raising a family, the backbone of any society. At the very least, a third party might spur the other two toward sanity. Provided that third party is both viable and sane.
But it may be that life in the people coop (coup? Coupe?) is just too comfortable and the majority too complacent with their double espresso whatevers, burgers and fries. (That would be the citizenship thing) - Reply to this comment
