If Virginia, New Jersey and now Massachusetts doesn't give you a hint that Conservatives are on the re-bound and what's in store for the Liberals in office, then nothing will.

Maybe when THE PEOPLE bounce half your party out of office, you'll - get the drift....until then, remain in your state of denial....It's actually, pretty funny to watch the excuses.....for Kennedy's 40 year seat go to a Conservative Republican, and you act like nothing happened.....LMAO !

starving1968-2

How's it going hungry...how's upstate...GW winter, huh ?

Quite a shift in the momentum lately....looking like Conservatism is on the rebound, much to your dislike I'm sure.

Do you approve of un-constitutional laws, as long as they punish those who YOU or your party feel need punishing or limitations ?

isn't a law wrong if it's un-constitutional, regardless of the benefit

Conservatism isn't on the rebound - it's STILL killing this country.

The conservatives bent over backwards and allowed the biggest businesses and banks to run us into the ground as they nearly collapsed our economy, they've now killed health care reform, and now they've allowed the biggest companies to buy and sell politicians through the Supreme Corp's latest ruling.

The problem is that EVERY republican wants to stop Obama, and the democratic party is split into liberal, moderate, and conservative factions. So while the liberal and moderate democrats want to work FOR America and undo the most destructive policies, the conservatives from both sides are still doing everything they can for their corporate masters. And now the supreme corp is helping them out with Bush's conservative appointees.

Meanwhile, me and you no longer have voices in Washington (or Albany). We were marginalized from the process before, and the Supreme Court has effectively eliminated us altogether from the process now.

But as long as you're happy with big business running your country into the ground, creating policies that work AGAINST YOU and your family, harm your country, all while ensuring that they can buy themselves TRILLIONS in tax breaks draining our treasury, while fostering the most corrupt government that money can buy, then I guess that's all that matters, isn't it?

The terrorists are going to be totally ruthless with the U.S. in the coming future just like 911. It is widely thought that bin laden is in Pakistan. It's pitiful that the only thing that the U.S. can do in Pakistan because of the political situation we have with them is to fly little remote control airplanes into that country to try to get bin laden. If the U.S. is going to succeed in not being totally destroyed and all of our future generations never experiencing life then we have got to change our thinking. The only way to fight total ruthlessness by another organization of people that want to kill you and yours is to get ruthless and kill them before they can destroy our country. They are very intent on killing as many people in our country as possible. It is profoundly dangerous because they read into their religion that god himself wants them to kill us. In this case we have no other choice but to fight fire with fire and be absolutely ruthless in dealing with terrorism if this country is going to have even a remote chance of surviving the next 50 yrs.

The US constitution was written for WE THE PEOPLE, not "those with the most money" or "the biggest corporations".

The first amendment guarantees INDIVIDUALS rights - not lobbying groups or corporations.

Communist America.
First you take a situation and use it to scare the citizens.
You convince them the only God that can keep them safe is a political party or the Government, but they have to give up the Civil Liberties given to them by the Constitution, give up their privacy, take off half their clothing at the airport, and if the dare to question anything about Politicians or the Government, call your citizens un-patriotic, investigate them, and place their name in a database of terrorist sympathizers. Keep fear in your citizens so you can change any laws you wish that will allow the rich and powerful to stay that way without any protest from the citizens. When American citizens begin to uncover your game, send out the mercenaries to make up a tape, pretend homeland security discovered a plot or picked up on some chatter, and if all else fails let the mercenaries blow up something to ratchet up the fear and get the citizens back in line. And if someone ends up dead call it collateral damage.

The Christmas incident is suspicious because, if you take a 23 year old kid who has a messed up mind to a dude ranch and call it a terror training facility how does that 23 year old verify it's a terror training camp? there's more behind that than what meets the eye.

What if a mercenary working for a company who wants to sell the government full body x-rays for their airports so they can make billions of dollars take a 23 year old kid with a messed up mind and convince him to do something stupid enough to scare that government and it's citizens into changing laws that will require the full body scans, that company will hit the jackpot.
American have got to use their heads and think.

How can we believe that our government can keep us safe from what they call smart terrorist, when our government can't even stop illegal immigration and drugs from coming into the country by people who are not that smart??? Why all of this foolishness at the airport and our privacy being invaded when all a terrorist has to do is go to Mexico and enter the U.S.A. the same way illegal aliens do???

You should think about that for a minute, should corporations really have the same "INDIVIDUAL" rights like you and I enjoy? Really? So if you or I break the law, we go to jail. How are you supposed to jail a corporation? YOU CAN'T and therefore they should NOT have the same rights as we do.
_______________

I have thought about it, and I have no problem if they inact a law that is constitutional.....but you don't or shouldn't favor a law that is un-constitutional, just because it punished the right people or those you feel shouldn't have a voice.

You can Jail a corporation and the executives who break the law.

I am not so naive, as to believe in unintended consequences, the policy's of the Bush administration and the policy's of the Obama administration, are simply designed to bring about more terrorism, not less.
America has exported its manufacturing jobs and the economy is in a true mess.
America has manufactured an enormous amount of domestic social problems, for it self, with a goal of division of the people, turning one race against another, one political group against another, all in the name of control.
America citizens have become the most oppressed people in the world.
Oppression is difficult to measure, however if you just consider the percentage of the population who are incarcerated, this gives one a good handle of the level of oppression. Also the number of admissions for psychiatric care or the prescribing of psychiatric drugs such as anti-depressants. In all of these areas America rates number one in the entire world. Neighbors spying on neighbors and on and on.
The politicians truly need a diversion, from Americas real problems.
America's policies toward the Arab States are designed to bring about feelings of Humiliation and Shame, both of which, are the primary causes of Terrorism. No thought is given to the point of view of citizens of Middle Eastern Nations.
""Mohammad Sidique Khan, thought to be the leader of the group that bombed the London underground in July 2005, said in his last video shown on television by Al Jazeera on September 1, 2005
"Your democratically elected governments continuously perpetuate atrocities against my people. all over the world. And your support makes you directly responsible, just as I am directly responsible for protecting and avenging my Muslim brothers and sisters..... Until you stop the bombing, gassing, imprisonment and torture of my people we will not stop this fight."" Page 36 "BLOOD THAT CRIES OUT FROM THE EARTH" James W. Jones.

The U.S. needs to understand the Islamic terror threat has no central command. Only central funding: Iran and the Muslim Brotherhood. Islamic fundamentalists are all over the world. It doesn't matter which country they're in, because Islamic radicals have no national allegiance. Their allegiance is to Allah, and Allah only.

Al Qaeda is fighting a war of ideas. They know they can't beat us militarily and, the fact is, they don't have to. Jihadi violence is psychological warfare, and only a small part of their bigger picture. That's why the U.S. needs to stop thinking that munitions are the only way to fight the war on terror.

We need to make much more use of other weapons, like communications, psychology, propaganda, old fashioned espionage. For example, have we noticed the jihadists don't promise a better quality of life if they join their cause and triumph? They just sell the Muslim Dream: conquering the West and restoring Islam to its former glory.

But what do the Muslim masses imagine life will be like after their dream of conquering the West comes true? Do they think life will go on as usual? Do they think we'll all just become their slaves? Has anyone asked them what conquering the West is worth, if their quality of life doesn't improve? Could we put a dent in their ability to recruit by showing them there are more satisfying alternatives to suicide bombing? And what about the Muslims who know the jihadists are just nuts to begin with?

We need to let go of our old notions of "war" and start fighting this new-world enemy with news ideas FAST.

Funny, why are they asking WE THE PEOPLE?

As of Jan 19, 2010, the 5 Conservative Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court switched America from a Democracy to a Oligarchy State.

They should poll the Corporations and Unions.

-------------------------

Aint that the truth.

To take your thought a step farther, why bother with any corporations opinion except for the top 3 on the fortune 500 list.

1. Wal-Mart Stores
2. Exxon Mobil
3. Chevron
