- Just curious, but did anyone think to research what the parents of these teens were like? A lot of this type of abuse can be traced to family origins, not withstanding media exposure (TV, video games, etc). Also, what happens to the male teens who are abused in relationships? I've heard from friends back in the day in high school who had girlfriends who beat up my friends regularly, and even got a kick out of being verbally abusive, even while in class.
