NRA and Tea Party are identical twins. They both believe in "ITS MY WAY OR NO WAY". As a result everyday Americans got screwed while NRA and its members and Tea Party favorite industries make big money.

This is beyond a factual argument, it is a cultural difference and the gap is widening by the minute. We are an the cusp of major change here in the US and it will get worse as Liberals and Conservatives do battle on every front.

This is a polarizing issue that will never go away, I for one, am prepared to do everything within my power to stop the erosion of our rights by any political entity.

The NRA has stepped up to the plate, stated their intention and has told me where they stand on these issues. Let the fight begin.

There's no such thing as a gun show loophole. None.

By seabass6251 the poster timed the comment after the Oklahoma City bombing.
-----------------
Goog God - if you're going to comment on something, at least try to know what you're talking about. The quote from Feinstein was from hearings after OK City. She was talking about understanding why people had handguns and related the story of her experience in the 70's. Of course, the quote stops before she told why she changed her mind, but repubs don't like to quote in context.

Guns are responsible for killing about as much as a match is for committing an arson or a car for a DUI fatality. Don't be the fool that blames the tool.

The NRA no longer truly represent sportsmen. They only represent the gun industry who pays them so that the NRA leverages Republican politicians to assure that no common sense gun laws are passed. The NRA uses chatter about the second amendment as a smoke screen. The more guns sold, the more $$$$ for the gun industry and the NRA.It's nothing at all about second amendment rights; it's all about $$$$$ greed.Isn't this obvious??

You're damn right!

70s? Don't parents control what kids post on the internet?
----------------
Obviously, your mom doesn't check you out in the basement too much. Yes, 70's. That's when Senator Feinstein had a handgun to protect herself, after she had death threats against her, after someone put a bomb at her house, and after she witnessed Harvey Milk get gunned down in his office, which was down the hall from her's. Your point?
