- I'm not sure if this guy is the best available choice for the post, but as someone raised Jewish, I am quite sick of people, especially right-wing Jews, making the indefensible claim that anyone who is critical of Israel's elected government is automatically anti-Semitic.

- So Hagel doesn't think Israel walks on water, good for him. His comments 14 years ago should be taken as coming from an ignorant person. But he apologized and I thinkwe can move on from that. He will be fine and Obama has made a good choice. Things will work out fine.

- The comments tonight are really insane...Why Obama wants Hagel for Sec of Defense is beyond me...Obama has made some stupid choices, this is one of them....I look for more before his term is up. As a Democrat and I really disgusted with how our world is getting so screwed up..Obama said before he was elected the first time that the first thing he would do would be to bring our troops home from Iraq, Afghanastan and Pakistan....he lied..thousand have died..this illegal war had bankrupt Russia and now, with the stupid politicans in Washington, D.C, our nation is bankrupted...we have lost our moral companss and our politicans are nothing but greedy, corrupt politicans who make the mafia look like choir boys.
