Oh please!!! "It's a question of mental health"...yeah right. Ct mother had the licenses not the son!! Why would anyone need that many guns to begin with? If any individual can't restrain from buying them then they obviously have self control issues all the more reason to not issue multi-killers! Oh and one last thought... anyone can >SNAP<!! at any time. You may be sane when you get the license but times can change...
Bottom dude, gunlovers need to ask themselves the ultimate question..."my guns OR the life of a loved ones?" The choice is yours...I just wonder what the families of Ct. or Columbine would say????

Since gun lobbies/advocates have control of so many legislators, local ordinances should require all gun owners possess liability insurance for each gun in case of injury/death. That small step would have some people at least cull their arsenal. they should also be required to have trigger locks on all guns and any without may be subject to confiscation.

CBS NEWS... pull this news article.. I don't need to see his goofy butt smile while 20 children funerals are being held.

Here is a comparison for you instead of golf clubs and weapons:
Extreme Muslims are causing the major problems in the world, and Extreme sport and hobby gun enthusists are causing major problems for Civilized society.

So much of this gun debate is fueled by a few inflammatory terms and names. "Assault rifle", "semi-automatic", "designed to kill people", "glock", etc. Anti-gun people really need to spend a few days reading about firearms, hunting regulations, and shooting sports. There's so much more that the average non-gun owner needs to learn before they should form such hardcore opinions.

If I had some 'hobby' like this guy does and I had to weigh my 'rights' to pursue my hobby against the potential loss of life of others (most especially little children) then guess what?! My hobby would be over in a nanosecond. This man they interviewed, and any others like him, operate out of pure selfishness and stupidity.

And let's not forget that most civilians are not 'militia' when talking about those so-called 2nd Amendment rights!

Well... if you want to compare golf thats fine, but the 'rules' are for PGA a certain amount of clubs.. etc...

so in the rules of the USA... if Congress, Senate and White House agree to the details of 'how many clubs' you can have, then thats the rules...

Its the 'new' normal. Maybe a majority of the Americans feel Americans don't need assault rifles and 'extended clips' for 'sport' or hobby and then as the song goes by Bruce Hornsby.. thats just the way it is.

Being a military vet and Navy "Expert' pistol, former 'hunter', i still contributed my vote at White House.gov to more improved and strict gun laws. I don't own a gun now having had three young children in the house, but I may get one only for protection (neighborhood not the greatest.)

I know I lost a little bit of my soul when 20 children were murdered.

the fact that you would compare guns to golf clubs demonstrates your ignorance and clearly shows that you should not own a gun period. I personally support the right to bear arms but military weapons should only be owned by the Military.

Does Obama want to ban AR-15s so there will be more for him to sell to the drug cartels in Mexico?
It can't be because gun control works. That's been proven to be false every time it's been tried. Otherwise Chicago would be a shining example of peace and tranquility.

WHAT IS THE UPPER LIMIT?

So its OK for citizens to own tons of automatic rifles basically designed for no other purpose than to kills lots of people quickly. Plus they are fun to shoot by people who like loud noises, and have an IQ lower than their age.

So with this anaolgy: what is the upper limit?

Is it AR-15s? Is it 30 shot handgun clips?

How about grenade launchers....they make a big bang, and are fun to shoot. Besides, grenade launchers don't kill people, people kill people. Its my Gawd given right to own an RPG.

How about a 7.62mm tank mounted machine gun? I can put it on my pickup truck and go blast some trees down at the shooting range. Its my right to keep and bear arms...........

What is the LIMIT? Is it above our below our current standards.
