- Still waiting!! Day 30 and counting since hurricane. called governors office and some not so nice people that say they are aids to the governor have no answer to any questions either about us homeless victims of the hurricane. Don't believe people saying that everything is ok for us because it most certainly is not. Again, people are getting helped that know someone. Let's see who gets first digs at these houses at the military base in Ft. Moumouth, because I was told that the news will be all over if there will be a lottery? Anyone with any information is welcome to reply. Thanks.

- why couldnt we see more of the inside of the camps and why wasnt anyone who is actually in the camp interviewed. seems fishy to me.

- So, where are these trailers/houses etc. going that are being sent up from south? Cristie is having a meeting on Monday he says after the Seaside Boardwalk Viewing the other day. It's not just the boardwalk that is destroyed, it's our homes their too! We are being able to go back to get a couple of items temporarily but we lost everything. HOMES. Places to live and the winter is here!! With so many people being displaced, how will they decide where the trailers(if so)are going to go? My question is who is at the top of the list and there will many people not liking that some people will be housed while others are still homeless. Fragate says he has no idea how many people are displaced and how many of these prefab homes will be needed. Say what? It's all over and on the FEMA lists. Try thousands and thousands. They are playing wait and see? See what, that we are homeless and are children need to go to school soon. Just send them up and take the people that signed up for FEMA and ask them if they still need housing. Trust me, there re no homes or apts or hotels in this area to be had. Open up the foreclosed houses banks! Do something soon. We need help. Believe me just because we are temporarily housed now doesn't mean it's too much longer. Only sending up 40 trailers that will just help out not even 1% of the problem. They say it's a long process, we don't have the time. Please start finding places to put them in our area so we can have some security again. I hope someone is listening. HOUSING. I just want to add thanks for ALABAMA P&L helping they have been a great help. Thanks for all the volunteers and anyone giving we greatly appreciate it.

Some interest has been shown, but thus far, no corporate sponsors have committed to helping cover the cost of getting these much needed items to the relief efforts...

- We read in various dispatches that there is much looting taking place in the affected areas destroyed by Sandy in the Northeast. No doubt that we'll be informed later that absolutely no looting of personal property took place whatsoever! Just as the residents of the afflicted areas are in absolute denial about power crews from the South being turned back by union thugs and other government agents as they attempted to get through to help restore electricity. Continue to be ignorant, people! Winter hasn't even begun yet. There will be more storms and more power outages!

- PLEASE SEND FEMA TRAILERS/PREFAB HOUSES TO SEASIDE HEIGHTS NEW JERSEY!! WE WERE HIT HARD AND CAN'T GO BACK TO OUR APARTMENTS AND HOMES FOR AT LEAST 8 MONTHS. MOST OF US HAVE BEEN STAYING TEMPORARILY WITH FAMILY/FRIENDS AND NOT IN SHELTERS DUE TO NOT SO GOOD CONDITIONS BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN MR ****** OR MR CHRISTIE THAT WE DON'T NEED HOUSING. SO WE GET SOME TEMPORARY FEMA MONEY FOR HOTELS, BUT WE CAN'T FIND ANY NOT ONE IN A 100 MILE RADIUS AND OUR KIDS WILL SUFFER MOVING THEM HERE AND THERE BECAUSE WE HAVE NO HOME NOW. A GOOD IDEA WOULD BE IF FEMA WOULD GET THESE TRAILERS/PRE-FAB HOMES UP TO OCEAN COUNTY/TOMS RIVER AREA SO THAT WE CAN STAY NEARBY AND CONTINUE TO GET ONGOING HELP. THE NEWS SEEMS AS IF NEW YORK IS THE ONLY STATE GETTING HELP WITH THIS DISASTER (SENDING HOMES UP FROM SOUTH). WHAT ABOUT US TOO!! I READ ARTICLES THAT YOU DON'T KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE ACTUALLY DISPLACED YOU DO BY LOOKING AT THE NUMBERS OF FEMA APPLICANT DISPLACED. YOU SHOULD REACH OUT TO US AND ASK US IF WE ARE IN NEED OF HOUSING. IT SEEMS THAT ONLY THE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN SHELTERS ARE BEING COUNTED FOR THESE HOMES. NO WAY. I AM DISABLED WITH A CHILD BY MYSELF AND CANNOT EVER GO BACK TO WHERE I WAS LIVING, CAN'T FIND A HOTEL, CAN'T FIND A RENTAL, CAN'T STAY WHERE I AM NOW FOR TOO MUCH LONGER. I KNOW I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE. ALSO, THE CHILDREN, SCHOOLING. WHERE DO WE SEND OUT CHILDREN? THE SCHOOLS AREN'T EVEN ADDRESSING THIS PROBLEM. I'M WORRIED THAT IN A COUPLE OF DAYS OR WEEKS FEMA IS GOING TO SAY GOOD-BYE AND WE HOMELESS WILL STILL BE WITHOUT. ANOTHER SUGGESTION, WHAT ABOUT FORECLOSED HOMES?
