As an Asian American, who lived here for 25 years, never saw this much mainstream media deception going on ganged with obama. Worse, most of the Americans were brainwashed and blinded being victims of division and hatred by him and minorities. No matter what are your beliefs ( gay, abortionist, anti-conservative whatever), can't you see who is bad, flaky person or who is respectable person??Don't you see that a leader of this great nation should have to have some decent quality as a president??You voted someone who is notoriously dishonest with no experience based on only his sweet talking talent skill as your president. So you have what you deserve: worse economy, loosing more individual freedom, weaker standing internationally than last 4 years ago. This guy's tactics are always avoid straight, honest answers, but speaking flattery confusing word to ears, but if you listen to him carefully, he has no clear points or plans at all .On the top of it, he says I saved you from the worst depression. How? and where is the empirical ( scientific datas, evidence)? Always attack other side calling names and tricks, didn't meet any cabinet members for two and half years of his presidency, but only works with secretly elected, unconstitutional czars? Playing golf more than 100 times for last 4years, spending more than $360,000 per average daily vacation cost? If some car sales person seduced you with sweet talk, will you believe everything he says and buy whatever he asks? or see the reality and logically reason consequences before jump into his proposal? If you still don't see whom you voted effected this country so bad , but only busy fighting for Republican and Democrats, you deserved to suffer another 4years. Because you are "STUPID"?You have to develop your own judgement, not swayed by mainstream media says, or government says. Mainstream media is gone more than 5 years ago, and act like the communist medias: They only report what government order. By the way before you vote for this guy, from now on, check all the magazines, and TV stations, and listen to whenever every media say about something in one voice. then one or two others say something different than the rest, listen both and research and try to figure out what is their hidden intentions and motivation. Weight carefully each other. That's what smart people do. If anyone carefully do that, sooner or later they will start to see who is lying and who is truthful or neutral. As an example, CNN, FOX, MSNBC always watch all three and compare how they report about any same incident. Then you will start to see who are more neutral and who are more indoctrinated.?I was shocked how Americans were turned out to be stupid 4 years ago!.I love this nation and from bottom of my heart I wish the best for next four years. By the way, communist always say they share equally? look at the history carefully. Usually poor, radical people deceive people to turn into communist killing educated, riches _( Soviet killed 80million. Chinese killed 90 million), then only the few party members have wealth and power , The rest have no freedom of speech, wealth,religion, but living in dirt poor, worse than before. They never share equally America!. It's just shift of power form have to have-not, but to the few party members only. America Wake! Learn the history, don't be deceived. - Why did CBS and 60 Minutes edit out President Obama's calling Benghazi attack a terrorist attack before they ran the 9/19 interview and why did they not air that portion of the interview earlier--when there were questions about it being a spontaneous protest to a video?

- First, to David Martin: That was a ridiculous biased, ignorant piece. As Americans, we deserve the truth! Stand up and be a TRUE AMERICAN. Give Americans the choice to decide on the FULL facts.
This is a serious issue and many of you are purposefully ignoring some very important facts because you "like" or "hate" Obama. Put aside your emotions and deal with facts. Only then can you see the truth.
Let's first understand the facts that were clearly laid out by those involved:
1) There was a "real time" video taken by a drone flying over the Consulate near the end of the event. The feedback was watched real time by military officials/government officials. This is undisputed.
2) There are videos taken from numerous cameras throughout the consulate buildings that provide definitive facts regarding this planned attack. There was NO riot. The streets were quiet up till the men attacked with AK-47s, RPGs, etc.
3) All other countries had pulled out their citizens prior to this attack due to ongoing, repeated attacks on foreigners. Our people had asked to be pulled out.
4) The consulate had already been attacked in the months prior to this event and had a large gaping hole in the perimeter wall.
5) Amb. Stevens had sent NUMEROUS emails to Dept of Defense and others regarding his concerns for safety. These emails are available.
6) Woods and others had directly requested extra manpower or to at least keep the manpower they had. Their requests were rejected on several occasions without reason. See emails & congressional hearings.
7) A Critic or Flash (Critical Incident Report) was sent early in the attack to the following: CIA headquarters, White House Situation Room, Dept of Defense, FBI leaders, Pentagon, etc. This report was ignored by the White House and the State Dept.
8) Help in the form of a Tier 1 Team could have been sent to help. In addition, an AC-130 Talon and/or QR (Quick Reaction Force) could have been sent.
9) At no time was the film claimed by Obama/admin considered an issue by our intelligence groups. Within 24 hours, they knew who had hit the consulate and why.
10) 9/11 is a well known date for possible attacks and our Admin was either uncaring or incompetent.
11) The families of local Libyans, serving as security at the consulate, were urged in the days before the attack to have the guards not show up to work on Sept. 11. This was known by the State Dept.
12) U.S. intelligence officers knew of four suspects within 24 hours of the attack that had links to Ansar al-Sharia, a local jihadist organization with some ties to al Qaeda's regional affiliate for north Africa.
13) Though specific information from witnesses had been given to congress on 9/17 - Jay Carney, Obama and others in the Admin continued to discuss the "film" and failed to state it was a known terrorist event.
14) The attack lasted for nearly 8 hours.
15) The Rose Garden speech did NOT state it was a terrorist attack (learn basic sentence structures) nor did he rule out the film as the issue. In court, Obama would be found evasive and noncommittal.
16) It is one thing to state an "investigation is ongoing" if information is not known or in dispute. However, the information was NOT in dispute within 24 hours of the attack. Obama was fully aware of what was known, the video available, the prior emails/reports threatening such an event, etc.
17) Riots did occur AFTER Obama and Clinton used the silly film as an excuse for the attack in Libya.
17) An attack of our consulate is ALWAYS a terrorist attack when not at war. Such a statement would have been acceptable, especially if followed up with the caveat about "possible change in facts as new information is obtained..."
These facts are not from a "news source," they are from actual statements, videos, etc. And yes, Owenscomp, I do use the library. I research/investigate for a living.
Whether you are a Dem, Rep or Indep (like me), this is a very serious issue. Arguing over partial or inaccurate facts does not help the situation. Closing your mind to the truth because you like/hate our President is repugnant. If he failed to protect our citizens, if he failed to provide the truth and used some film maker as a scapegoat for his Admin's incompetence - we should ALL be angry. This is OUR country and those were OUR people. I don't care what side of the aisle you represent, I expect honesty and accountability. It's time we held politicians to a higher standard.
The facts/timeline are overwhelmingly against the Admin. I know that Jay Carney and Ann Rice were given marching orders by the White House (that is protocol) even AFTER the truth was known. We each must make our own decision regarding this issue. However, holding to a belief because of your personal opinion about Obama is not productive. - When 241 Marines were blown apart in Lebanon in 1984, President Reagan referred to that as an "act of terror". Funny, I don't recall a single Republican legislator claiming Reagan was "weak on terror" (which he clearly was and even helped bin Laden get his start and allowed the Pakistanis to develop a nuclear weapon). They also didn't say his foreign policy was "unraveling" even though the world is a much more dangerous place today, due to this old fool's bungling!

such incidents are regrettable for sure, that said, the controversy led by the American media about this case is strange and raises many questions about the interest but also the goal. When we know that no embassy in the world is immune to such incidents. why focus on this one, knowing that currently insecurity reign in Libya, the country is going through a difficult stage of its history.

- Shame on you David Martin. I used to consider you an objective reporter. You know full well that Obama cautiously played both sides of the coin in the Rose Garden address. He neither called it an act of terror or a spontaneous demonstration, but referenced both. At the time, he was playing it safe. When someone in his administration sent Ambassador Rice to five talk shows to say it was a spontaneous demonstration, this was a mistake. She could have said we don't really know now. By the time Obama went on Letterman to call it a result of the two-minute video, our President was lying. What is the point in covering up the truth?

- OK... so why did President Obama go on the view on Sep 25th and say the administration was still sorting through the information when asked if it was a terrorist attack? And later that day he referenced the "video" 6 times in his UN speech. The answer is becoming clear. The Obama administration could have prevented these deaths and didn't. Now they are attempting to distort the facts to avoid taking responsibility. Horrible leadership again from Obama.

I watched the FOX News special last night and it was extremely revealing. There are TWO videos of this terrorist attack. There are cables from ambassador Stevens to the State Department, illustrating a growing of al Qaeda influence, and several requests for more security - all denied by the Obama Administration.
Libya-gate is much worse than Watergate. Here, the Obama is trying to convince you that it was a VCR and not a RPG that blew up the gate, protecting Ambassador Stevens' compound.
