- Good story, not many cops out there like that. He can enforce the law
without making you feel like you've been "had". Had a couple tickets myself, going with the "yes sir", "yes mam" seems to help also. Most of these guys are just doing their jobs. - Reply to this comment

- Mr. Simmons, congrats! If all cops were like you this world would be a better place. There would be no cop-haters. No "pig" comments except for the criminals who are losers, anyway, and will never change their attitude. While just watching the clip, I already started liking his broad grin. Make him Chief, please!

- He is treating others as he would like to be treated in the same situation. It's not hard to do, just communicate and don't take anything personal when you are on the job.
Kudos for respecting others in a stressful situation.
