Comments on: Obama grilled on immigration promise

- President Obama was right that the Boehner Republican controlled House opposed any attempts of immigration reforms got stonewalled there for many reasons. According to Congressman Paul Ryan (R-WI), he opposed Obama or the previous Democrats immigration reform legislation after the Republicans gained the majority in the House 2 years ago.
Congressman Paul Ryan opposed educational benefits for children of illegal immigrants. He didn't want an automatic path to citizenship for illegal immigrants. He wanted more paperwork and bureaucracy for people crossing the US-Mexico border every year. He wanted more crackdown at the border first at all costs. All in all, the Univision interviewer failed to get the facts right before blaming President Obama for failing to keep his promise. Clint Eastwood made that mistake before babbling a lot of nonsense to an empty chair.
According to the Texas Tribune, a survey showed an overwhelming majority of conservatives and Tea party leaning members opposed having children of illegal immigrants to gain legal residence if they joined the military or received a college degree. They supported tough immigration policing while opposing any path to citizenship, which was a key component to Immigration Reform by the Democrats.

- The NUMBER ONE political issue to tackle, which incidentally will solve five major national financial problems at once, is ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION. The best way to CREATE JOBS is to deport all illegal immigrants NOW. First that will create thousands and thousands of seriously needed immigration and border patrol agent jobs right off the bat. Second, as the illegal immigrants are removed and deported the jobs they leave will be available for TRUE AMERICANS. Third, by having TRUE AMERICANS employed then the TAXES WILL BE PAID to the government (instead of the employers of illegal immigrants keeping that money to avoid being detected for employing illegal immigrants). Fourth, by deporting illegal immigrants we SAVE OVER A TRILLION DOLLARS A YEAR as a nation since hard working TRUE AMERICANS currently pay taxes to support THE HEALTH, EDUCATION AND WELFARE BEING USED BY THE ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS WHO WILL NO LONGER BE HERE. (NOT COINCIDENTALLY THIS IS ALMOST EXACTLY EQUAL TO OUR ANNUAL NATIONAL BUDGET DEFICIET) Fifth, we won't be spending real taxpayer dollars on health (including anchor babies) education and welfare on multiple fraudulent/fake identifications for each of these individuals. And finally, as a BIG BONUS it will prove to America and the rest of the world that we are serious about getting our country back on our feet which is the biggest inducement (GLOBAL CONSUMER CONFIDENCE) that will be immediately affected. America and the world need to witness this confidence. Finally, we will show everyone we are serious about protecting our country and our borders from terrorists.
AMNESTY ISN'T GOING TO SOLVE THESE PROBLEMS. - Reply to this comment
- Everybody has an opinion. Why they like Obama, why they like Romney. It is the viciousness that bothers me. I will not vote for Obama, he is in my opinion a loser, a liar and most of all he plays all the races, classes and states against each other. The key to his success is to make all of us blame each other and he is succeeding. He cannot make a decision unless it benefits himself and his campaign. BUT, in the end, it will probably be him for another four years. I hope not. Who will he blame the last four years on???? Bush again??? Amazing.

- Washington D.C. has to be changed by the votes from the OUTSIDE. That IS the point! No one that gets to Capitol Hill stands a chance. There is a freshman class every two years that thinks they can, but they are wrong. The Tea Party succeeded in getting the U.S. credit rating down graded by messing around with the debt ceiling...not what we want.

- A few more quotes to chew:
"Islam has a proud tradition of TOLERANCE" 6-4-09
"I will cut the deficit in half by my 1st term."
"I will have the most transparent administration in history."
"Extending the debt ceiling is irresponsible leadership."
"My healthcare plan will reduce healthcare costs."
"We are days away from TRANSFORMING America"
In a television interview today discussing his religion, Sen. Barack Obama stated, "My Muslim faith."
The interviewer then asked Obama whether he is "willing to stake your political career on your collectivism?"
"That's the core of my faith," Obama replied.
Asked to define sin, Barack Obama replied that sin is "being out of alignment with MY values."
"I ceased to advertise my mother's race at the age of twelve or thirteen, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites."
"To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists." - Reply to this comment
- every President has promised to fix immigration and hasn't.
Romney doesn't say anything.
Because you know he's not going to do anything about it. - Reply to this comment

- According to Obama's Bureau of Labor Statistics, our real numbers today show that Asian American unemployment hovers at the 6% mark and white unemployment at 7.2%. Latino unemployment, however, is close to 11% and African American unemployment at 14%. The figures 5 years ago? I could not find the Asian figures, but white unemployment hovered at about 4.4% while Latinos had 5.2% and African Americans 7.8%. All other things being equal, despite all of the hype and demagogery that would have some believe Democrats really care for them, Latinos were almost on par with whites five years ago and blacks were much better off... Is there an Obama manifest destiny of ensuring we have enough poor in America to create an America that is closer to the Dreams from his Father? (16% poverty, matching our 1960 numbers).

- We don't need immigration reform. The Federal Government needs to start enforcing the current immigration laws we have now. Deport all illegal aliens, secure the border and fine anyone who hires an illegal alien. That is the law. If the Federal Government did their job we would have millions of jobs and would save taxpayers hundreds of billions of tax dollars.

- In typical Affimative Action fashion, nothing is their fault. Obama had a super majority, filibuster proof majority in congress his first 2 years in office and could've passed anything he wanted. But it's the Republicans fault, LOL.
