And, I suppose you all believe that our dear president has never changed his mind? He was for closing Guantanamo and then he wasn't (common sense kicked in), he was for bi-partisanship and then he wasn't (and no don't blame the GOP, they were ignored for his first 2 years in office), he was for campaign finance restrictions when running against McCain and then he wasn't (when he found he was raising more money than permissible). Everyone changes their minds. The only time it's considered negative is when someone from the GOP changes theirs.

The only thing he's been consistent about are his far left, big government, nanny state, socialist beliefs. Branding him a liberal is too kind.

Nothing, NOTHING, goes into a party's platform without the approval of the presidential candidate. Back in the days when journalists weren't transcriptionists for politicians, one of them would have brought this fact up and asked the candidate to explain why he allowed them to insert a plank with which he disagreed.

Romney is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on the American people, nothing but a flim-flam man. Only a certified fool would vote for this poser that feels the Presidency belongs to him because he's a person of privilege. He should be tarred and feathered.

Romney remains in wink, nod, smirk mode. Of course he's in favor of a woman's right to choose but only for rape, incest, and get this - to save HER OWN LIFE. Mighty generous of him, don't you think?

However, you can see him lick his lips at the idea that he might get a chance to sign a bill making ALL abortions illegal. He's said so himself.

Campaigning for governorship of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney said he would "preserve and protect" a woman's right to choose.

It is very clear, my views are whatever I think will get me elected right now. And they always have been. On every topic. It is really very, very easy to understand where I stand on anything - just take a few polls and call me with the results.

Today Mitt is clear. Tomorrow etch a sketch a new view. Ryans view is clear as well. Co-sponsored legislation with Akin. RNC is clear as well. GOP wants women to go back to the 1850s and 1950s. If the GOP is about less government then they should get out of peoples sexual lives and stop the Christian Sharia law plans. IF you do not believe in abortion do not have one. Your religious belief is your right. You do not have the right to have your religious beliefs contingent upon mine.

Romney's public views on abortion as a presidential candidate are the same as Mormon church's view on abortion: rape and incest, and the health and life of the mother.

Have they changed since he was running for governor of Massachusetts?

Interesting that within Mormonism any woman in such an unhappy circumstance, even after anguish, study and prayer, and after receiving confirmation from the Lord that an abortion is permissible, must still obtain counsel and approval and permission from her male, Mormon priesthood leaders. A leader such as Bishop Romney was (in Mormonism, once a bishop always a pro forma bishop).

Otherwise she's going to be ex-communicated from the Mormon church.

His position really creeps me out when you think about it.

Because aren't 'believers' against abortion because they believe life begins at conception?

So what are the beliefs underpinning his position? Logic would seem to suggest that his position is one that's designed to be the most politically advantageous.

And doesn't that mean he's deciding matters of life and death and playing God with peoples' lives based on nothing more than polls?

CREEPY!!!!!
