Politically, countering the military command puts him at risk from all those who REALLY benefit from war. It IS a complete "industry", you know!

- What is MOST especially SAD about this, is that these deaths DO NOT enhance the security one iota! This is wasteful, and I really feel for the family.

- There are no answers for these grieving parents. I had to write three letters from Vietnam to parents of Marines that had been killed in action and I couldn't answer those same questions. My heartfelt condolences to these parents. They can take solace that their son and other dead Marines, as is stated in the Marine Corps hymn, now guard the streets of heaven. Semper Fidelis, Mr. & Mrs. Buckley. Your son will be missed.

- All George W Bush had to do was send enough Special Forces and Marines to block Osama bin Ladan and entourage's escape route from Tora Bora into Pakistan, kill the guy and get out.
But that couldn't be done, bin Ladan was the black sleep brother of long time Bush family friends; Afghanistan is loaded with untapped mineral wealth, with enough lithium for Prius batteries for the next hundred years!

- The top brass seriously needs to pull their heads out of their *****! It's truly pathetic that they will waste the lives of them men for their own pride in "gaining victory". Leave this backwards nations, if anyone beleives we can force these people to adopt a modern western style of government then they're morons! Obama also needs to man up and tell the Joint Chiefs to **** themselves and pullout now!

- Why did this happen? Plain and simple...We have absolutely NO business being in the Middle East, period! No more than these Muslims should be patrolling our streets with AK-47's. Hope that makes sense to those who have a brain to think with. What would you do if your home was being invaded by foreigners with guns and an attitude? Welcome them with open arms? I doubt it...

- I mourn the loss of these young men and share the grief of their families. Cpl. Buckley's Mother asks a question that those perpetrate wars are not often forced to answer. He and his fellow Marines and Soldiers have been given an impossible job. The United States Of America is a strong country and We, The People MUST take back the control of our nation, its political process and discourse.
The really vital thing to remember is that there are wars worth fighting, but these wars have been perpetrated for the selfish interest of a wealthy few. When the real need for our Armed Forces arises the people are not going to have the stomach to support what may be very important. - Muslims are not our friends. We need to leave Afghanistan and Pakistan immediately. When the Taliban and/or al-Qaeda start to plan attacks against us there, wipe them out with a few B-52s.
