- We should get rid of all IDs. There is no reason for a bank, or the TSA at airports, or the shopkeeper when you buy beer or anyone else to need to require you to show an ID. Your word should be good enough.

- I am a left leaning independent, but come on, it's not that difficult to get an ID card. I definitely think voter fraud happens on both sides of the political spectrum and we do need some form of ID to vote.

- They should use as evidence the head of the Republican party in PA stating that the new law will put Romney in the White House. Because that's what this is all about.

- Let's not forget the ACLU is simultaneously filing lawsuits for illegals. Consider that if both the kinds of decision-by-judge are upheld (instead of through our elected legislators) they will enable millions to having voting rights "under the radar" of laws intended to protect our rights. Gee, who wins then? Won't be YOU!

- Come on, Folks! Why, with all these lawyers around, can this lady not get an ID? The only reason is that these guy are poised to make $$$$, or at least get donations through this. How do I contact Ms. Applewhite? I am willing to take whatever time necessary to help her get an ID. She needs something to prove who she is. Birth certificate and wedding certificate along with Social Security number, OK. The Pennsylvania Department of State announced Friday that the state will offer a new photo identification card that will spare voters from having to obtain birth certificates and Social Security cards in order to vote next November. The new voter ID cards, good for voting purposes only, will be offered at PennDot driver licensing centers beginning the last week in August, to registered voters who can provide a date of birth, a Social Security number and two proofs of residency, like utility bills. Let's go folks! Time's awastin'. I found her with her birth family in the 1930 in Philadelphia, living at 43 Good St, Ward 22, enumeration district. Her family: Reuben, born ca. 1895 in VA, garage mechanic; Bessie, born ca. 1892 in VA, house cook; Harvey, born ca. 1908 in PA; William, born ca. 1922 in PA; Vivette, born ca. 1919 n PA; Dorothy, born ca. 1924 in VA.

- How can anyone function without a form of official ID? Can't open a checking account, get a job or apply for any social services. It is really one's civic responsibility (I know a lot of people hate that word) to do certain thing, like get a photo ID. If one chooses not,for whatever reason, to get an ID don't be suprised that you are not as funtional in society as those who do.
