"Working Poor" is a despicable, third-world / Dark Ages concept that reflects nothing more than evil people in control of society.

Hmm. I'm not sure yet what happens to the working poor but I DO know what happens next for me.

I get to continue supporting the 47% of Americans who pay no federal taxes and receive government assistance. ...at the same time I'm working my fingers to the bones and just barely scraping by myself.

Thanks president Obama.

Remember when Obama said "if you like your insurance provider, you will be able to keep your insurance provider." He failed to mention that you will be paying 3 times more than you were paying because you will be supporting people that cannot support themselves!

Sorry but you shouldn't go broke for getting a surgery and before you say "that's what insurance is for", those companies are their to make money not to help you.

"Much Ado About Nothing" or "We Don't Need No Stinking Medicaid"

ACA Title 1;Subtitle D;Part IV;Sec. 1331.
State flexibility to establish basic health programs for low income individuals not eligible for Medicaid (page 93)

The Federal matching funds could be as high as 95:5, if, you ask nicely.

What's next for the poor? Well, let's see.
They have free food, free rent, free health care, free heat, free cell phones, don't pay income tax, get a big bonus at tax time from EITC, get free cash from SSI and TANF, etc., etc.....
Hmmmm - maybe they would like a new car? I am sure they have a "right" to a new car.

"States argued the expansion of the program would have placed an undue burden on the states, and the court agreed, writing in its opinion that the provision was like a 'gun to the head of the states'." Right. National Socialized Medicine now!

Medicaid expansion would cost billions that the states don't have. The reason that these people can't afford health care is that our costs are out of control and have grown from a few percent of the economy to 18% since we started relying on insurance to pay our bills. Health insurance is not the cure, it is the cause of the problem! The industry has relied on the "blank check" that insurance offers. Now we not only can't afford to pay the bills, we can't afford to pay the insurance premiums. The industry's "solution" is to force us to buy insurance instead of sending our kids to college, paying back student loans, buying a house, etc. They have 18% of the economy and want 36% in ten years and 72% in twenty. Soon we will have to throw off these chains or starve.

"We can make the best decision for the health care needs of our state without the bureaucrats in Washington DC telling us how to spend our money,' said Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott.

Yeah sure. Texas has 6.2 million uninsured resident...25% of the citizens of Texas have NO HEALTH INSURANCE.

So I guess we know what Greg Abbott means when he says ""We can make the best decision for the health care needs of our state without the bureaucrats in Washington DC telling us how to spend our money,'

The best decision: DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING FOR THE UNINSURED.
