- I can understand the use of these by law enforcement. But tax agencies???? For anything other than criminal violations (warrants, etc.) these things should be considered illegal to use as they are unecessarily intrusive. If you have no activity that warrants attention, then the data should be deleted from any storage or use at that point.
But we all know how that is going to end up. After all, the security and ethics involved in any system is only as moral and ethical as the person using the system... and when it comes to beauracracies and governments, I have not seen much evidence that these things even exist.... - Reply to this comment
