Can anyone take this guy seriously?
Although this guy is a two faced flip flopper of the highest order I truly believe that too many Americans are gullible enough to vote him in. I got a funny sicking feeling he will win.
If he does? I foresee a future in the short distance when division in American Politics get a whole lot nastier. The Religious Right gets stronger. Personal Liberties erode further. War with Iran, Syria begin. The Ryan Plan get implemented and Social Security and Medicare dwindle and weaken. Women's rights are pushed to the side such as the right to fight for right wages. Abortion rights in the form of Roe vs Wade will not be overturned yet a majority of Southern states will no longer provide abortion services and birth control will be strictly eliminated. Higher teenage pregnancies due to a lack of comprehensive sex education. Banks will have another free ride and we will see more Wall Street high stakes gambling. We will experience a double dip recession caused by too fast and too many spending cuts and very low taxes especially from the rich (look at David Cameron and the UK). We will have more Creationism taught in schools instead of Science and loss out on the monopoly we once had with Bio and Genetic sciences (IT is fast becoming an Indian and Chinese skill).
And then, America will shake its communitarian head and vote for HILLARY. ...maybe...if they wake up. - Reply to this comment
- Romney is quick to criticize Obama, but I haven't heard anything from him on what he plans to do is elected. That's probably because he doesn't have a plan, at all. If the demoralized and zombie GOP voters are behind him, they just don't know any of the facts. Except what Rush and Faux news spews out on a daily and hourly schedule. The misinformed are ruining America, and believe that wealth wins out over everything else. What a sorry position that is.

Exactly what did we win in Iraq? Nothing. In fact, we lost just about everything in this phony war Bush got us into way before Obama took office. What Obama did was to cut our losses by getting us out of there.
Everytime I start to have some respect for Romney, he loses it by giving idiotic statements like these. He must think that the American public is stupid and does not have access to fact checking via the net. - Reply to this comment

- There's plenty to challenge Obama on after his time in office, but to just come out with soundbites about how Obama has failed etc is just being 'Palin-like' just to get applause from a partisan crowd is pretty weak.

- Romney would give Obama an F if the President found the cure to cancer. It astonishes me that Romney is actually taken seriously by so many people. All he knows how to do is maximize his personal wealth, sometimes at the expense of others, and to say anything whatsoever to get himself elected. The man has no moral or ethical core.
