No American troops! We do not need to be the watchdog for the entire world. Why can't some of Syria's neighbors, like Saudi Arabia and the like, try to deal with this problem. We will never be able to "save" them from themselves. We always turn out being the "bad guy" even after we have allowed our own sons and daughters to die in their defense. Enough already.

Is there anywhere McCain thinks our troops shouldn't be...except at home? We will simply spread ourselves too thin. We don't have the money for all this policing and all these religious wars.

TO: Sen. John Mccain.

Maybe troops on the ground is the only real solution to the crisis in Syria, but they had better not be American troops.

Evidently McCain and Lieberman have not learned anything from the disastrous and costly wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

If McCain and Lieberman want to get rid of Assad (and who doesn't); bring on the drones and drop bombs right on the top of Assasd's head.

True, innocents may be killed in such an attack, but I'd be willing to bet the toll wouldn't be anything near the death toll of 9,000 innocents already killed by Assad.

This is not to mention his heinous acts against children.

Assad has no soul.

He is spawn of the Devil.!!

Only his death will end the slaughter in Syria.

P.S.- Scott Pelley-i.e., Clarrisa Ward's video footage and comments on Syria. If it can't be verified or properly documented don't air it. Watching 10 to 12 young guys in the latest western dress supposedly running across the border into Turkey fleeing the Syrian army looked staged. I can't understand how someone would have the time to video (using a video camera or cell phone) fleeing refugee's having the Syrian army after them. Looks like rating propaganda to me. The American people ain't buy'n it.

It seems that 'Two Frogs', McCain and Lieberman have crossed the 'Very Polluted Pond' (the Atlantic-you can also take this 'literraly') to 'Instigate and Interlope' in Syria. The American people aren't buying it! I am now waiting for the 'Warted Toads' and 'Slithering Snakes' to 'Appear and Speak'. The 'Biblical Iconography' in this matter is remarkable. I can't believe how close to the truth it comes!

Eric Holder needs to file an antitrust lawsuit against the oil companies for price gouging and shipping American oil from America to overseas!

John McCain should stop trying to be a backseat driver for our foreign policy and do America a real service and go home! John McCain lost his campaign to the Whitehouse and at the same time, his family sold my favorite beer to a foreign country. It is time for John McCain to go HOME! If he wants someone from America to intervene on the ground in Syria, he should go himself and take all the Republicans with him along with his family members, Newt, Mitt Romney and his sons and please don't forget Dick Cheney, everyone knows he is a great shot. He can also sell maybe 10 of his family homes to pay for it or ask his rich friends to add 10% to their 12 % tax liability to pay for it? He speaks with a tongue that has 20 paths in the road. So where will the money come from for this war? So which American lives should we sacrifice for this mission of McCain's? CAN ANYONE REASONABLE THINK THAT JOHN MCCAIN IS IN THE 21th century. The only thing sensible and truthful McCain has said this year is that President Obama is the next President of the United States and the best President of The United States and he said it to Mitt Romney's face! Hum,Hum, Hum, HUM!
The Republican's don't measure up to the American promise!

Get over it McCain, America doesn't have enough money to save the middle east from its problems any more. Largely because of politicians like you who destroyed our economy trying to prop up military-forced democracies. Your grand plan for the middle east is NEVER going to happen. Step aside and retire already.
