- Trayvon Martin Investigator Wanted Manslaughter Charge
The lead homicide investigator in the shooting of unarmed teenager Trayvon Martin recommended that neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman be charged with manslaughter the night of the shooting, multiple sources told ABC News.
But Sanford, Fla., Investigator Chris Serino was instructed to not press charges against Zimmerman because the state attorney's office headed by Norman Wolfinger determined there wasn't enough evidence to lead to a conviction, the sources told ABC News.
Police brought Zimmerman into the station for questioning for a few hours on the night of the shooting, said Zimmerman's attorney, despite his request for medical attention first. Ultimately they had to accept Zimmerman's claim of self defense. He was never charged with a crime.
Serino filed an affidavit on Feb. 26, the night that Martin was shot and killed by Zimmerman, that stated he was unconvinced Zimmerman's version of events.

- Well, it looks like my post regard Trayvor's mom seeking Trademark rights on 3/2132012, with this link, has disappeared. Here is the Link to The smoking gun website:

I've followed this site for years. They're very good about producing documents. They were among the 1st to produce documents showing a different side to the Duke LaCrosse case. I'm sure you'll all remember that one. The press & public had those kids tried & convicted. Remember 'Ol Jesse Jackson promising the "victim" a college education LOL
People need to step back and remember there's two sides to every story. Let the investigation continue & all the facts be produced.
Mom trying to protect son by obtaining trademarks within the 1st month after his death? Hmmmmm I seriously question that. - Reply to this comment
- Nobletruth: "Wow a lot of people here just refuse to accept the truth that is was Zimmermin who was attacked and beaten.....

Appears as if state attorney Norman Wolfinger is more at fault than the Sanford Police Dept. in this case, and it's good that the FL governor replaced him with a special prosecutor, that will more than likely bring charges against the racist zimmerman before the Grand Jury meets! - Reply to this comment
- If this kid had ran (fact) from Zimm, and Zimm had given chase (Fact) and Zimm was told not to follow the boy by the authorities (911) (fact) - who do you think behaved like a criminal in this case ?? If the boy defended himself, is it not within his rights to 'Stand his Ground' and shoot the man chasing after him (for no other reason than he was black)?? .... The facts are this George Zimm killed an innocent person and will pay the price of doing this.

- Hmmm who is Zimmerman's dad again?
Oh that's right, a retired JUDGE....Coincidence?
Think again.
Welcome to the real "Bubba" America. Stinks, don't it?
I wonder why the PD didn't leak that pap-judge" info? - Reply to this comment
- The list of 2 Million people who signed a partiton to have Zimmerman arrested should be made public. They were so quick to trample Zimmermans civil rights... Lets find out who they are. Maybe they are rethinking this case.

- While it's a tragity that this young man died, odds are that he had some hand in his fate. (rarely do people get shot for complying with authority) I just wish all the race baiters would drop it and let the police do their jobs without involiving congress.
Besides, I'm tired of seeing this in the news every day but with a slightly different spin tacked on to make yet another pointless headline. - Reply to this comment
