- First you might consider Obama walked off that plane as "candidate" Obama.
Coarseness never been so bad? You ever hear of the Cival War?
He thought he was going to lecture the Govenor? Think again Mr. Candidate.
Schieffer you must not have gotten the memo, pitch fork sales have gone through the roof. 1%, 99%, average joe or Govenor, the days of politicians from Washington thinking they can push anyone around is over.
Sorry Bob the time of your perspective is over, I hear teaching gigs are easy to get. - Reply to this comment
- Where was Schieffer when they were calling Bush every name in the book including marching around the White House chanting FU Bush???

- Any Citizen who put a finger in any President's face would be arrested on Federal charges. Brewer should face such assault charges and step down. She is disgraceful and an embarrassment to the integrity of America. GOP is racist through and through. End of story.

- Bob Schieffer, You are the most honest, accurate and inspirational reporter on TV! You are absolutely correct about the unacceptable and disrespectful conduct that politicians, journalists and citizens are directing toward the President of The United States. It's clear to the rest of us the underlying bigotry, denial, and rudeness on their part. By the way, ignore the rude and obnoxious comments from some of the people above. Keep on doing your excellent work!

- Schieffer is a old man who has outlived his relevance. His program 60 and the rest of the media have created this lack of civility. He still thinks it is the 50's when no one questioned anything the press or poloticians said. or did.
Schieffer, go home and quit making a joke of yourself. - Reply to this comment
- Schieffer is correct about respecting the office. Obama is a sitting President. At no time is it appropriate to stick your finger in his face. Proper protocol would be to welcome him to your state, not tell him off. Ms. Brewer was more interested in making sure she was heard (and selling her book)than doing the job for which she was elected.
