I was reading a post earlier that blamed Obama for the Chinese getting the oil in Iraq. I just done a G search for "oil Chinese Iraq". Found an article in the first few hits from the NY times. It was dated Aug 8 2008.

The Chinese got the oil before Bush left office. When were the republicans going to tell us

How about all the troops wasting away in Afghanistan for no definable reason?
Is Obama going to wait until America has a complete collapse before he decides to bring them home?
For a guy that campaigned on "transparency" and "change", things are not going well...

Only 8,000 U.S. troops left in Iraq
---
We should have never had a single one there.

8000 troops protecting the oil the Chinese now own. When were the republicans going to tell us? For what has been spent on these two corporate wars we could have put solar power on 1 of every 3 single family homes in the United States. When will the republican nightmares end? Now we are being robbed of our US Postal Service. Do republicans hate the United States that much?

Again the deception is "8000 troops"; now go back and count the ARMED Americans left in Irag or being sent to Irag. This will include paramilitary, contractors, CIA and other US Gov't/ or quasi-gov't agencies, mercenaries in the employ of the US Gov't, etc. Like Afghanistan, the US taxpayer will continue to send billions and billions of dollars, equipment, and services to this country for many, many years. There will be no accounting.

Biggest policy failure in history thanks to the worst president in history, GWB. Of course, the damage from this fiasco has already been done and will take us decades to overcome, if at all. Now the Republicans like Newt!!! I guess there is just no accounting for taste.
