- This soldier's diary reveals a troubled mind. On the one hand he seems confident in his mission yet he states taking lives is a very difficult thing to do. Of course it is, but these young, immature, right-wing, war-mongering bloggers who have never been in combat can't understand the stress of confliction in a soldiers mind.
Someone on this site several months ago claimed that soldiers "love" to war. I quickly condemned the statement as BS. This soldier's diary proves me right. From my time in the U.S. Marine Corp during Vietnam I already had experienced what this soldier's diary reflects.
Any President or Commander that want's to rush into war, or "create" a war, has himself never fought in a war.
