- To me, it appears the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee should know about the tax laws-what do you think, stuart-johns, or skyk-sorry if I got the spelling of your name wrong, but I do think it is an unusual name.Do you think this rep. should have paid his fair share of taxes? But, perhaps I am being a racist because I think everyone should pay their taxes? If so, I am hanging my head in shame, because I do not consider myself a racist. I will say, however,I would like to have a look at ACORN's books and see where the money takes us.

- Notice Rangle says nothing until Obama is President because he knows Obama does not approve of tax evasion like Bush did for his fellow Republicommies.
There is definitely change in Washington.
Now put that in your meth pipe and smoke it Obama haters. - Reply to this comment
- Some years back, a dental surgeon from our community failed to pay income taxes for a number of years. He argued that he suffered from a mental illness. The judge stated that mental illness might explain one or two years but not every year and found the dental surgeon guilty of evading income taxes. What are the chances of this happening to Charles Rangel?

- Funny I don't see the die hard Democrats in here charging Glenn Beck, George Bush or Carl Rove with being out to get Charlie Rangel.
Maybe this one is just way to much to defend.
Now the question has to be asked how long before Nancy Pelosi will even notice that the chairman of the committee in charge of writing tax law can't seem to fill out an honest tax return. That might be seen as putting a fox out to guard the hen house by some, but to Nancy this just makes good sense. Who better to know how people are cheating the tax laws than another democratic tax cheat.
Seems they don't mind raising your taxes as long as they keep finding ways not to pay their own. - Reply to this comment
- I hate to admit it, but I'm glad to see Rangel caught up. You abandoned HILLARY CLINTON after all BILL CLINTON did for you. Let's see if President Obama can save you.

- Good for you CBS, at last, doing some "bi-partisian" reporting. Follow the money trail and see where it leads-especially with ACORN; and perhaps other politicians? Amazing, if I didn't declare every penny there would be an audit. Why did it take so long with this joker-could it be because of political connections? No,surely I am wrong!

- Dubious Accounting Shadows Top Democrat ..... Charles Rangel, Head of Powerful House Tax Committee, Admits to Under-reporting Assets by More Than $1M.
Its quite possible that he's using the same faulty asset reporting software that Geitner was using to defraud Uncle Sam. These are the same Cheats & Thieves Obama has in Charge of running Our Country Trillions of Dollars in Debt. These Elite & Fat Cats just don't get it. Just pass it on to The Working Stiffs. An Korn Hole them again. So sad! - Reply to this comment
- Rangel should lose his seat next year and maybe carted off to jail if lucky.
