Thank you so much for your reports. My son is in Southern Helmand Province,heis not in Echo Co but part of 2/8 Marines and does the Logistics for Echo Co. I know any parent who has a child over there was overwhelmed to see our young men receiving packages. As parents sending packages and praying for the safety of our children is what gives us some sense of comfort. Some of the parent web-site have said that the boys have not been getting their packages your report showed smiling faces and multiple packages in soldiers arms. I will include prayers for your safety as well and I hope the Marines share some of their goodies with you. - Reply to this comment

- Arab terrorists kill innocent civilians with car bombs and other heinous devices. Blackwater kills Arab terrorists. Therefore, Blackwater is defending the public.

- The Americans should offer rewards of money to local people for information on enemy positions. The Rebels rely on secrecy and their hidden lairs. Once revealed, NATO could freely attack from the air and ground.

- I think it's high time that we got our troops OUT of there.... as far as I am concerned, the Afghan people and the teliban DESERVE each other! What do the Afghan so-called "men" do about the taliban? wait for it - NOTHING. I guess it's much safer for them to go around flogging 13-year old little girls! THAT'S big and brave for ya.... and with the recent Afghan elections, the taliban I guess from what I've heard has made good on the threat to cut off the ink-marked fingers of people who voted! And what have the "men" done about THAT? Again - NOTHING.
Maybe, just maybe, it's time for the WOMEN to get good and PO'd over there.... take OFF the damn burkas, stage a coup de'ta and TAKE OVER THE COUNTRY THEMSELVES! - Reply to this comment
