- Reading through some of the objections from GOP posters, it is clear the GOP has injected torrents of Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt-- all emotions-- into the
discussion. But it runs more deeply than that. For years, the GOP has opposed every major reform of health care in this country. The GOP was opposed to Medicare, to Medicaid, and now continues its reaction to the one improvement
most Americans say they wanted yesterday.
Some 72 million Americans (47 million UN-insured and 25 million UNDER-insured) urgently need reform.

- We pay more for health care than anyone else in developed countries, yet life expectancy in Jordan, Bosnia and Herzegovina is greater than in the U.S.

- The truth, the truth, the truth, tell the truth over and over and over. No government takeover, lower premiums, stopping insurance companies from doubling your premiums in the next 10 years, no death panels, no payments for abortions, coverage for all Americans at reasonable prices, availability and affordability for employees of small businesses which will save small business men and women real dollars, no dropping of coverage for Americans who forgot to mention a small medical problem when they filled out their insurance applications, no dropping of coverage when you get sick, saving the American economy from bankruptcy, medical coverage that can never be taken away, tell the truth and the actual facts, we can't lose if America understands the truth. Now is the time.
