CBS News Exclusive: Egyptian Prime Minister Says Timing Critical For President Obama
- Would that not make the New Testament writers like Luke be over 100 years old when they wrote? Average life expectancy was only about 40 years at that time.
Posted by troutfishyman
Oh, come on, Trout - you know everyone lived 900 years back then.
I think it must have been something they were eating...
Posted by slownewsday_05
Did they have lead paint back then? - Reply to this comment
- I just did. The New Testament was written between 55 and 70 AD...the Old Testament was written before that...and the Council of Nicea wasn't until 325 AD...
You lack of logic is quite patent, Sir.
Even the NEW TESTAMENT makes your Council of Nicea blithering into NONSENSE!

- Jerusalem had been the Holy City of Jews for thousands of years before Muslims even existed. Christianity grew out of Judaism, so Jerusalem was the Christian Holy City as well.
When the Muslims took Jerusalem, they declared it to be the Muslim Holy City. The European Christians came to the defense of the Christians in Jerusalem, who had no army.
BTW, the Christian army was sent after Turkey appealed to the Pope for help when the Muslim army was attacking Turkey. So the Eurpeans were invited.

Wow, you're massively ignorant, I'm surprised you have the nerve to post publically at all. - Reply to this comment
- So, (lmao), where did Muslims come from?
And Turkey invited Europeans, via the Pope...to invade the holy lands?
(ROTFLMMFGAO)...
Posted by gravyboat3000 at 8:16 PM : Jun 3, 2009
You know, you COULD do your own research on this. It's not difficult to find.
You do know that Islam was started AFTER Christianity, right?
Posted by bothR2blame31
What did Arabs in the,"holy lands", believe before they became Muslims?
And when was Islam born? Come on daddy, give it to me... - Reply to this comment
- It's low class and it always backfires. In other words, perfect for conservatives.

In comparison, posting things like ROTFLMMFGAO when somebody's just explaining history when you're obviously so ignorant, ya that's so high class.
Remember when I was explaining to you why you get banned? Ya, this is why.
Posted by bothR2blame31
Well, I swun! It is old weedpooper !
Haven't you been banned like 68 times this year? - Reply to this comment
- I addressed that earlier.
So - still waiting for your retutation. The Old Testament didn't mention Jesus to be the son of God.
The Council of Nicea did.
(cough)

- What's hilarious is that you keep claiming the same BS.
We're different people, Rowdy.
GIVE US THE RESPECT WE DESERVE!!!
Sorry, how was your Veterens Day? Did you lay flags at grave sites?
Posted by gravyboat3000 at 8:13 PM : Jun 3, 2009
No you're not Gravy, you're but one person, and pull this BS every time you get your head in your butt crack....
And yes, I had flags put on my relatives graves on Veterans Day, as always along with wreaths...did you? Did you have enough respect for fighting soldiers? Or do you, like Obama go about the planet raising hell and calling the US totally WRONG and HATEFUL AGRESSORS, when we've liberated how many countries now...some of them TWICE?
Posted by IThoughtItWasFunny
I didn't, my relatives who served are burried in other states, and I'm not in a position at this time to go there, and put flags on their graves. I did buy a new flag, and flew it from the front of my house though. We do what we can.
Obama's not raising hell abroad, he's just making sure that the, "dead or alive", mentality is gone.
And I've asked you before, if your going to speak of my butt crack, please talk about what you'd do to it.
I love me an agressive girl... - Reply to this comment
- ey conveniently left out many of the original scrolls, they thought people like you couldn't handle 'em, Rowdy.
And it's been re-written many times, translated many more times, and wrongfully so.
Other than that, it makes a great coaster, or a means to brace a broken table.
Posted by gravyboat3000 at 8:10 PM : Jun 3, 2009
No dear, most of them were left in the Bible until the beginning of the 19th century...
I suspect you use most books as table or levels for your trailer...glad you admitted it.
Posted by IThoughtItWasFunny
No, I read 'em. And I'm shocked, you are usually the recipiant of trailer jokes. And to think, I defended you once.
That will never happen again. :*(
By the way, you're knowledge of the bible is poor, at best. The majority of scrolls were ignored, they were building a bible to control the population at the time. It's still working, go figure. - Reply to this comment

- But weren't there Arabs living in Jeruselem all along, who were expelled by the crusaders?
My point is that European Christians were the invaders, not Muslims, or Arabs.

Ahhh, Slow, what kind of work were you doing? Were you on one of your music gigs, your advertising agency, your real estate agency, practicing your first amendment expertise, your geologist gig....
Texans wouldn't let your relatives live here...pansies in pink drawers with fifty nic names aren't allowed here.

- Let's see you refute that the Council of Nicea was the first to proclaim Jesus the son of God.
Sounds like you're losing.
Can't handle the truth, can you? LMAO!
Posted by slownewsday_05
Mainly because the Council of Nicea was in 325 AD...and all the books in the Bible of the King James Version were kept there until the 19th Century....and of course then there's the original scrolls...
Jeebus, Slow, get real...Bible scholar you are NOT!
