- CBS, isn't there a "D" after Murtha's name? I guess with a history of lies, corruption, hatred, and criticism of his own supporters, I can see why no one wants to claim him. Time for the affected "old boy" to retire.

- "As head of a powerful Defense committee, Murtha controls hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars, reports CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson. And he's not shy about directing money to those who give generously to his election campaigns. - article
Any question about how this liberal stays in office. I say he and the companies that contributed to him should be in VERY deep trouble.
""If I'm corrupt," said the congressman, "It's because I take care of my district." - article

- I have nothing against earmarks that are for good projects. However, since President Obama is going to be cutting out the excess expenses and cutting what can be cut, I don't think Murtha is going to get what he wants this time. The budget is getting a trim and that will mean everything will be thoroughly reviewed.

- What about the Murtha Airport that got 10's of millions for runways, control towers and plenty of security. In fact they had 7 security guards to screen 5 passengers and their bags. 3 flights a day!! This is also the same guy who said our troops were murderers so I am sure his constituents will vote him back in.

- There should be a limit on how long these guys can hold office. 16 years sounds about right. After that, they should go out have have to earn an honest living.
