SAVINGS? OF COURSE, IDIOTS! How do you think this guy is taking care of himself and five members of the family. $1900 a month is a joke! Whats more, YOU CANNOT GET HELP (FOOD STAMPS) IF YOU HAVE A CAR? WHAT ASSININE C.RAP IS THAT?

Posted by thedarkgod

The car rule is typical of most states. If you own outright a car less than five years old, you automatically do not qualify for any assistance., Same rules apply for owning a home outright, if it is paid for you do not qualify for most assistance. Even the elderly who need assistance must sign all future profits of the sale of a home over to the state to get help.

I'm confused here, how many of our troops died invading Iraq under Clinton? How many billions of dollars were funneled to no-bid conractors in Iraq under Clinton? Say what you want about the guy, he will not go down in history as the worst President ever.

By the way, Clinton's last bit of advise to Bush...

You neglect to mention that fact that Bush & company sold the war with a BUNCH OF LIES.
Posted by JAMESC2002 at 7:44 AM : Apr 18, 2009

Nope. Those were Bill Clinton's lies. Nobody lies like him.

Here's Bill telling the WMD lie in 1998:

"Other countries possess weapons of mass destruction and ballistic missiles. With Saddam, there is one big difference: He has used them. Not once, but repeatedly. Unleashing chemical weapons against Iranian troops during a decade-long war. Not only against soldiers, but against civilians, firing Scud missiles at the citizens of Israel, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Iran. And not only against a foreign enemy, but even against his own people, gassing Kurdish civilians in Northern Iraq.

?The international community had little doubt then, and I have no doubt today, that left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will use these terrible weapons again. "

Speech from the Oval Office by President William Clinton, explaining his attack on Iraq
reported by The Associated Press
Wednesday, December 16, 1998

Here?s Hillary repeating Bill?s impeachment eve speech, almost word for word:

?Saddam Hussein is a tyrant who has tortured and killed his own people, even his own family members, to maintain his iron grip on power. He used chemical weapons on Iraqi Kurds and on Iranians, killing over 20 thousand people?

?It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons??

I cant comprehend someone earning this much money and NOT saving for times such as this? Although, on second thought, the ignorant Marxist would just redistribute uour earnings to the UNPRODUCTIVE!

Well said! That may explain why the savings rate cut in half from 4.6% in 1990 to 2.3% in 2000, at the height of the dotcom bubble.

It dropped below 1% in 2005, and it is still that low.

People are afraid of the government confiscating their savings.

It really amazes me how everyone is blaming the Dem and Rep for their mess. We as a people of the greatest nation in the world failed to do one thing. SAVE!!! I can understand a person needing help when they are making the average income, but the story said it all, I HAD MY CAR REPOSSED!!! We have had to have it now attitude is what helped get us in this mess. A 6 figure income and no savings, come on, that is complete stupidity. It's time for Americans to start living withing their means instead of financing everything they own because they have to have it now. My heart goes out to the average working class, but 6 figure income people that have to stand in line for welfare. TOO BAD!!!!! Nex time try saving some of the money.

For the last 30 years republicans have been ridiculing intelligence, knowledge and education as elitist, "on your high horse". They have successfully damaged the education system in this country so that they can more easily manipulate people.

I hope that we have started to move away from this.

so whats wrong with Socialism?..lokk at our progressive friends to the North...they have free health care, college things that we as Americans have to pay out the ASS for...so what if we might get taxed at upwards of 50% of our income..i'd rather have a more stable, educated society then one thats simply based on captialistic exploits! it's time for we Amwericans to swallow our pride and adopt a new style/form of government! I made $143,000 lasy year..if i had to pay half of that for taxes I'd be ok with that as long as i knew my health insurance is taken care of and my kids have are able to get a great education!!!
