In America, for the same reason the sickest cancer patients always get the strongest chemotherapy.
In the world at large, countries like Japan, with the strictest gun control laws, have the lowest rates of crime. - Reply to this comment
- Guns are banned in Mexico by the way. The law abiding citizens do not have them at all.

- Criminals prefer communities where guns are freely available to everybody, both criminals and honest citizens.
Criminals know they are ruthless enough to shoot first, to shoot you in the back if they feel like it, whereas the law abiding citizen will need probable cause.
Criminals will have the advantage. - Reply to this comment
- Why are the black people not in charge of their communities? Because the Liberal party has put them into a state of constant dependence. Because of Social handouts there has never been a need for personal responsibility and striving for anything better. New Orleans during Katrina is a perfect example of a Socialized society. The people knew for over a week that a massive strorm was on the way. Hundreds of thousands of people, who have never had to fend for themselves, did not have the skills or the will to leave. They did not have the skills or will to get water and food stocked up. They were helpless because their Democratic leadership in that city made them that way. It is that way in most major cities. Another example...the demise of Detroit. It is incredible to me that the black race does not see that it is the Democrats that have kept them down for all these decades so they could maintain their voting block. The Democrats have essentially told the black race we think you are too stupid to be able to survive and thrive on your own. Because you are so helpless we are going to give you a little food and a little money and a little shelter....just enough to survive to the next election.

There are many more criminals in Mexico, where guns are freely available, than in Japan, which has strict gun control.
Criminals prefer communities where guns are freely available, since they know they will shoot first, and the armed law abiding victims will not.

- Actually people, it has been the American way for hundreds of years. The white house is a couple of blocks from the most dangerous neighborhood in DC. The presidents, all of them of the past have lived there and done absolutely nothing about it. The death tolls among young black children, some as young as ten years old is outrageous. But as long as it's the blacks, nobody cares about their demise. It's easier to blame it on the blacks, knowing damn well there will be no effort by those outside of the community to help. Black people are not in control of jobs, education, recreation or anything else that could save these children, or even direct them to a better way of life.

- When you have a government run by the mob they way Mayor Daley in Crook County is in illinois the mentality is bound to rub off on kids. It all starts with the way people are treated by government officials and police. If they treat you like $h!t you treat others the same.
