I really don't understand why we reward failed wall street, bankers, insurance companies and auto makers that have hurt our economy, yet some want to criticize companies that stimulate it !!

What kind of message is that?

Microsoft isn't getting the money. Instead they are contributing to the project, creating more jobs then just the stimulus alone. Sure it helps microsoft's campus and public congestion. But let us consider that 11 million in stimulus is a small drop in the bucket of the taxes collected from microsoft and it's employees. Yes they pay taxes too!!

Microsoft should take the money they are going to make selling Windows 7 to the poor people who went and bought Vista (because it was the new and more secure Windows to replace all others). Microsoft should be paying for it's own bridge. That is one company that is not poor so to speak. Once again Congress has kissed the behind of big business while screwing* the taxpayer. Congress idea of a three way.

[You know, I find that many liberals often resort to name calling and personal attacks.

I have always believed that if they call you names when they disagree, you have won because they arent able to use logic ad reason. ]

really ... do you also find it to be a partisan attribute? if so ... you're argument is as pathetic as the other guy's was.

there are many tools in the shed ... if you choose to use a shovel to do everything ... good for you. I however ... will use the appropriate tool for the situation at hand.

I thought that the only bridge Microsoft is building is the one to Bangalore India.

(It will make it easier for the thousands of jobs they are sending there)

Thanks Bill

who is watching Obamas' watchdogs and who are watching them ? I still smell lobbyist . A faint smell of decomposing swine is in the air. All the way from the congressional door step to our pockets. If they can build a bridge to save twelve minutes ? why shouldn't AIG have thier bonuses? Im burning my Obama soapbox and replacing it with all those boxes my thorizine arrive in .

There is NO WAY, NO WAY!!!...Microsoft should be getting stimulus money for these bridges!!! That is totally wrong!!! That is wasteful spending of stimulus money, put it into the education system...and let Microsoft pay for their own friggin bridges/roads!

Hey congress....just how many of you does it take to stand up and make a positive decision in this matter? Just tell MS, not only NO, but h*** NO; if MS wants their own
private bridge, let MS build it. Keep in mind this fiasco serves ONLY MS and not the general public. Take care of the South Park bridge; it needs the refurbishment badly, or
are you waiting for someone to get killed there? Come on, this isn't rocket surgery,
just say NO !

Sen. Coburn, for once, has it right. This is NOT what our tax money should be paying for. Use that money and fix the bridge that people drive on. NOT FOR MICROSOFT.
