So they only work after midnight? Is that so they don't get the cr*p beat out of them? : )

It's because most deadbeats stay out late partying every night.

So there's no point looking for their car until they're home and in bed.

Oh, not that I'd know about being a repo man or anything.... ;-)

You're the one who answered my question with a question.

I guess you're the one blinded by partisan hatred.

What a surprise.

And you're allergic to the truth, too. So typical.

Clinton did drop the ball with Madoff one time! but Bush ....
Posted by aheadace at 4:09 AM : Mar 21, 2009

But NOTHING.

CLINTON DROPPED THE BALL! PERIOD!

Why do you all want to just skip over that part and go back to bashing Bush???

Madoff was the smoking gun of the Clinton years. Madoff personified the Clinton mentality - lie, cheat, steal, no rules. It was all a big lie.

With Madoff, Enron, Worldcomm, Andersen Accounting, and all the other financial fraud that was running rampant in the Clinton years, why didn't the Clinton admin catch EVEN ONE of them????

Maybe because he DIDN'T WANT TO.....?

Who are you to tell somebody who had a job could afford a car of her choosing and because of greed in the top decides to take a empire and crush it .Obviously you live quite well and no need to worry about these things. You can at least have some empathy for the people

None of this is the people's fault ,it is just so awful to see people's lives all in a upheaval all because of greed and now this greedy little bunch who have robbed the taxpayer are taking their money and suing the government for 330billion. How much did Paulsen pay out 350billion? These people losing there jobs, homes, cars, you name it even renters have to get out because the owner landlord lost the rental property. I tell you I am surprised the country and all American citizens have not totally revolted over all this. CONGRESS.WHAT HAVE THEY DONE? REPUBLICANS NO, NO, NO, IS ALL THEY CAN SAY, AND CRITICIZE,THEY CANNOT PASS A BILL IN THE SENATE FOR THE REPUBLICANS FILIBUSTERING.I say we do away with congress altogether who needs them. the lobbyist is the only thing they know and they completely forgot the people.Yep the people have paid the price, and Bush's big business has done it all." Give the middle class a break over my dead body", big business says. They, Wall Street, Banks, Insurance companies. next it will be the Pharmaceuticals who have bled us to the core. These are my opinions.

"I had to choose between paying the car note and paying my rent," she said.
She chose rent, fell two car payments behind, and her Honda was repossessed.
"I started screaming, to be honest," she said. "They took the car the very week I started a new job."

No President is responsible for your lack of good judgement, or your car payments.

-------------------------------------

But lack of good judgment by voters can certainly be responsible for an incompetent President with lack of good judgment being one of his better qualities.

How about this, for those that know full well that they are not going to be able to make the payments, on a car that's too expensive for them, trade down. That is if you're not too "upside down" on the loan. Meaning, you maybe owe more than the car is worth. Get with a dealer and trade it back in, on a car that's a little older, and certainly less expensive. Trying to hide the car that you can't pay for, usually never works in the long run. If you drive it, they'll eventually find it. Unless you can rent a garage somewhere away from your home, and hide it till you get back on your feet, and can start paying again. But even then, they'll probably want you to bring the missed payments up to date. Next time it might be wiser to pay cash for something a lot less expensive, and then there will be "no Payments" to worry about, If your job goes belly up, you'll still be able to keep your car. And where some folks come by the idea that thay deserve anything and everything, is beyond me. As a people, the only thing we deserve, is that which we can pay for. And for those that try to make this some kind of a political issue, Bush did this, Bush did that, you make me laugh. No President is responsible for your lack of good judgement, or your car payments.

you are full of it, try to get out more,

learn to read something besides your bible,

THE PEOPLE are not always the problem,

a lot of the problems our country has are based on the greed driven

views of a few powerful ideologues
Posted by pythoncharly at 4:20 AM : Mar 21, 2009 ********************** Is this your stock and trade answer for any one that disagrees with you? It would appear so. Do not all human beings deserve a right to the "rights" you tout as being constitutional? Does not the finance company deserve the right to repossess the item out up as collateral for a loan contracted? It would appear that you've had a confiscation take place for an item you couldn't afford. Could this possibly be the case? A man, any man, is only as good as his word. Have you ever given your word to repay a loan and not fulfilled your "word"? Thereby, making the loan officer the bad guy, right? How quaint the "rights" are where you deem fit to place them.
