Especially in California, with the country''s highest concentration of fertility doctors.

California is the place for making babies!!!

I would like to know this..I am legally blind..So ye try to read with poor vision. I am an Ameican. It is not on large print..I am 54. I was moved from home to home growing up. I got a poor education . Yet..Ye whine over the babies..They did not ask to be here. They have needs. I was born too early. Foster homes were hell. They refused to educate a blind girl with other handicaps. That is just a bloody girl. They groomed us for children. I had none. The fact is the children will have sp needs for the rest of their lives. I have to use a magnifer.

If the Quints are ever well enough she and her family should leave the country because this is going to follow them for a long time. I still feel that she should be prosecuted for fraudulent use of her student loans and disability fraud. She is an unfit mother and not mentally stable.

Really? I look at this a part of the American dream. Where else can a person live, and as a woman with no spouse or career income, she can become the mother of 14 children? She is typical in that she didn''t wait on others to get what she wanted. California is the place for such dreams to come true.

ChicagoRailB, I see your Christian ideals presented in your posts. Do you all hate Muslims, or just American born ones?

I don''t like the death threats or violence associated with this, it doesn''t help anything. However, I do understand the fear, anger and resentment over raising children on public assistance in the State of California when people are not getting state tax returns, state workers are on unpaid leave, the state is struggling and she made a conscious and active decision to dump more responsibility on people who are at the breaking point as it it. Her obliviousness and serene puzzlement are a slap in the face. I really feel for the children who don''t have much of a chance, and I hope they grow up to get the hell away from this woman. Don''t take it out on the innocent....

If you are truly concerned about the welfare of the children and feel that Ms. Suleman is not capable of providing a safe, secure, and financially stable home; then please contact the California Department of Social Services of the Governor of California.

I would disagree that it is not harmful to a baby to be born to a homosexual couple and the American Academy of Pediatrics, not too long ago, agreed. So, are dr.''s to use public sentiment as the standard for what''s right and wrong or their own set of morals. As most people with common sense know, public sentiment is a fickle beast. If this woman were involved in a homosexual relationship, even on welfare, she would not be receiving the backlash she is now. And if a dr. tried to deny her she could claim discrimination and he would be sued.

I wish her well. I pray for her and the well-being of all her children. And mostly, I pray that one day she%u2019ll be able to live her life without the condemnation of the American society. I%u2019ve commented on this story since it broke and this will be the last time I read anything more about it or comment on it. I refuse to continue to be a party to a story I think does more harm than good.

you''re on your own there. most people hate her, and with good reason. why don''t you volunteer to pay some of her expenses out of your pocket?
I hope enough people in CA are pissed enough to get togher and file a class action suit against her. She defrauded the taxpayers of CA as well as her former employer, and whoever provided her with her student loans. If a man committed fraud in the amount of $200,000.00 he would be going to jail (unless you''re Bernie Madoff).
She needs to lose those kids and either learn to support herself and should not receive another cent from anyone unless she earns it.

This is a truly sad case. Here are 14 children that definately are going to face neglect and lack of care. No one person or 3 member family can care for all those children or afford them. Someone needs to investigate and decide what is the right thing to do before the babies go home. It does not sound like the Grandma is up to caring for them and they are going to need much more than one or two people to care for them. I hope they take control before something happens to any of the children.
