The thing is, sure there''s civilian shielding going on.

Does this mean that it''s okay to kill the innocent human beings who are being used as the shields?

Do all of these "shielding individuals" choose their role?

Even if it is "legal" to use WP on this mixture of militants, and mostly non-combatants, is it the decent thing to do?

Israel is surrounded. The natural gas that you are talking about is off the coast of Gaza. There is no reasoning that makes any sense as to why they would have to eliminate anybody to tap into it. In reality, Israel does not have the resources to recover the reserves. Egypt has agreed to broker a deal for them with a mid-eastern concern to address the project. Meantime all of you armchair quarterbacks sit back and legislate morality. We used lots of "Willy Peter" in Vietnam. It is stockpiled here in the United States. Israel obtained it from our government. While it is a terrible weapon, it saves lives in the long run in a combat situation. It is a warfare product that renders the opposing force unable to respond or recover in many cases. Hamas know that all they have to do is keep stacking children around themselves and the media will pave the road for outrage. It is truly a shame that we are still nothing but waring tribes in this world with so many weapons to enforce our will. Isolationism has worked for us here. But I fear that we are going to be severely tested on our own turf. I don''t think it is a matter of if but when. While it is a horrible thing to think about, the costing of more lives, we have to do what is necessary to to protect our country and it''s citizens from harms way. We have to pick our friends very carefully and stick by them through thick and then. Iseael has been doing a lot of the dirty work for us and the rest of the free world for a while.
